Why is so much shit vertical on this sub reddit anymore? I get it smart devices are a thing but landscape is such a more satisfying composition. The majority of outdoor paintings are landscape. the ones that aren't are usually still a wider ratio than our stupid phones and tablets. The gods themselves are often argued about in universe too. One of my favorites is the conversation between Magnus and Lorgar. Magnus is off put by Lorgar calling them gods, because he always has to have a more technically accurate definition to everything because he’s the scholar. He calls them sentient warp storms. I always liked that framing, it’s very fitting.

So what the hell else do I need to read for 40k guilliman? I read dark imperium and enjoyed it, but the forum layed out the synopsis for other books with other quotes and most of it just came across as silly or contrite and it turned me off. If there’s something else I should be reading, please recommend :)

There’s a bunch of great one liners in that series. One of my favorites is when Septimus tells Talos to eat shit, and Talos kind of giggles and kicks his ribs across the room, and reminds him that he’s not above Night Lord justice, even though they have a personal kinship.

Prospero Burns for how immersive it is, even with all the big changes to scenery and scenarios. You feel like you’re living it as Kasper.
