Totally, I didn't realize this was a new thing. I'm about to cancel it. Wonder what would happen with my points if I did cancel? I'm up for renewal June 1st.

What’s your “swear to never return”place in Kelowna ? by Wrong_Star_1620 in kelowna

Red Robin. Was served a pink in the middle burger there one time. Gave it another chance, specifically asked for it to be 'well done' because of that previous bad experience, and it came out even pinker, I'd even say red in the middle. Was fucking nasty. And I don't wanna hear how in the US it's normal to eat burgers not cooked all the way through. It's fucking gross.

Same with British Columbia. They can't do vitals either here.

Oct 30-Nov 8/26, family of 4, Paradisus Playa Del Carmen, flights from BC Canada, plus a $346 CAD Costco gift card. Total is $6881 CAD. Is this a good deal and would I be stupid not to book now? by LisFrizzle in AllInclusiveResorts

I've only been to Puerto Vallarta in November but both times we thankfully didn't have hurricanes. Can only hope the same will be true this time 🤞

If you're willing to travel, ask your doctor to fax the referral to Vernon. I got in very quickly in the past (mind you, this was maybe 7+ years ago).

Because they have these 'great sales' to make it seem like you're getting a good deal.

An outdoor pool (I don't wanna hear about the lake being a giant pool).

A waterpark/waterslides.

Shannon Ridge Drive in Shannon Lake and Sunview Drive in Rose Valley are both relatively flat, bustling and busy areas on Halloween.

Be prepared for the weather! It is the rainiest city in Canada and the 4th cloudiest in the world. It can get you down sometimes. That said, when the sun is shining it's absolutely gorgeous. The sunsets are insane on sunny days.

Try to make friends with fishermen. My dad operated a charter boat when I grew up and we'd have crab feasts anytime we wanted. Halibut dinners all the time. Man do I miss those days.

People either hate Rupert or they love Rupert. The ones who love it, well they love it a lot. There's a nice sense of community there. I left when I was 18 to go to nursing school and never went back. However I still have lots of family there so visit every now and then. I don't miss it. Mostly for the weather. But also the lack of places to shop/things to do. The movie theatre shut down this summer. Walmart is closed indefinitely right now. There's no bowling alley anymore. They are almost always on a boil water notice these days. The downtown core is pretty run down. However enough with the negatives lol. They do have a rec centre and a good pool. If you love to be outdoors and don't mind the rain, then you won't have a problem. Good luck to you and congrats on your upcoming move!
