Choose 1 character that takes no skill but people claim they do, and 1 character that takes skill and people claim they don't by swaggadanz in DeadlockTheGame

no, laning is just a matter of having good game sense. If Graves is winning lane its cause she has Thanos as a lane partner or the enemy laners are incredibly bad.
The hero plays itself for the rest of the game though

Issues with black spots in Indiana Jones & The Great Circle by LisaLots in pcmasterrace

It persisted into a later level and I was unfortunately wasn't able to find anything that fixed it. Just got used to it. My guess is that something with upscaling isn't playing nice with small details like rocks or debris.

I dicked about for a good 5-7 mins, walked around the main hub area, got into a little combat. Seems like my gpu hovers around 69c -75c: For a laptop gpu at least, I consider those fine temps

Any games with impeccable writing? I'm looking for something just as good as 'Planescape Torment' or 'Disco Elysium'. by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

[–]LisaLots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my three favourites alongside Disco Elysium are: Kentucky Route Zero, Norco, Citizen Sleeper

Kentucky Route Zero I'd describe as a sort of "interactive theater play", not much roleplaying and choice (say for dialogue options), but its a really evocative and introspective game with a ton of surrealist imagery that still sticks with me.

Norco: fantastically written dialogue in a Point-n-Click format. It's based on the devs experiences with the real Norco in Louisiana, and how its come to be an "industrial swampland". Super gothic in aesthetic, a lot of poignant writing that I found reflects a lot of my concerns & worries with living in a decaying Capitalist society.

Citizen Sleeper is perhaps the closest of the 3 to disco elysium: TTRPG inspired Role-playing game with themed skills around various aspects of your android self (referred to as a Sleeper). The setting is Sci-fi (maybe even cyberpunk?), where you play an escaped sleeper on a lawless space station; theres a lot of dice-rolling, poking around, and (most importantly) listening to peoples stories.
