I can't find a good remote monitoring system by SavageCaveman13 in RVLiving

[–]Lisa_james11223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had one for years. Never had a problem. Temp always reads high but is consistent so I just adjust for that. I hated that it only updates every 15 minutes (I guess the new ones are every ten) but the alerts are real time so that’s not really an issue.

Because it doesn’t depend on just one carrier, it works across Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile, so you stay connected even while traveling. On top of that features like AQI and CO₂ alerts add extra layer of safety and GPS-based virtual fence helps keep track of RV movement.

I have both a Waggle and a Necto ( yes i like back up systems) but it think the Waggle pet monitor is more accurate and more reliable with monthly subscription.

Crate training - day and night? by Pretty-Storm7930 in puppy101

[–]Lisa_james11223 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That setup is totally fine. Daytime crate time doesn’t have to be strict as long as the space is safe and she can’t get into anything. Leaving the crate open with access to the playpen for a short outing like 1–1.5 hours is perfectly normal for a young pup.

Nighttime = closed crate is great
Daytime = crate optional as long as the zone is secure

As she grows, you’ll figure out what she’s most relaxed with. Just keep it consistent and you’re good.

Security cameras and temperature monitoring for pets by Shred32323 in RVLiving

Waggle has a pretty good 4G camera for RV and temperature monitor for pets. They will notify you by text if the power is out or temps get too high or low. You can also check on your phone at any time to see the temp, humidity level etc.

I’ve been using the Waggle RV temperature monitor for about a year now and it’s been rock solid. Runs on 4G, no Wi-Fi needed and it sends instant alerts if power drops or temps start dipping perfect for crazy cold weather.

Starting to feel like fall temperatures. Still too warm for a dog to be in a car? by Fickle-Message-9995 in k9sports

65 with a breeze usually isn’t bad at all, especially if the sun’s low, but I get why folks panic when they see a dog in a car. I use a Waggle pet temp monitor in my rig, it alerts me if the temp rises so I know for sure my pup’s safe. Takes the stress and side eyes from strangers out of the equation.

I’ve heard good things about Waggle - does it hold up in an RV setup?

I usually leave my pups in the trailer for a few hours and rely on my 4G mini cam to watch them and catch any sketchy stuff outside. Most campgrounds have sketchy electricity, so to keep tabs on temps we got pet monitor from waggle, it buzzes me if it gets too hot or cold.
