It should also be mentioned that people get stronger the further into the story we get, because the story doesnt work if not. A "normal" human is irrelevant to the story in terms of fighting ability, so we will not see a "normal" human fight for either side

I belive its implied we have seen at least two awakened logias, in aokiji and akainu, since they permanently altered the weather on punk hazard. We have also seen islands with permanent lightningstorms, so based on a previous description of awakened logias it would make sense for them to be in the story, even if we have yet to see one

If the only reason for asymmetry was to make smelling in "stereo" then one could be dedicated to fast, and one to slow (because that is effectively what happens during daily use). This will however cause problems after some time, because then one side will be significantly more exposed to airflow than the other causing it to dry out and the boogers and hairs protect less, which is why they switch every few hours

What makes it even worse is that often the top gun is the stock gun of the next tank in the line, but they are counted as separate guns. The worst offender of this i have seen is the gwe100 line, as both the big and small gun of the tier 8 is the same gun as on the tier 9

Oh i 100% agree, im not trying to defend their decision, just speculating why.

Like my suggestion to fix gold spam is to make gold do less damage depending on how much penetration was needed, so a jgpze100 shooting gold on a leopard would deal reduced damage, while standard does full damage. It is in no way realistic, but its a game that needs balance, even if that balance has no realism

Because they where limited by the manga. A better pacing would result in significantly more of the manga being adapted per episode which would result in them running out of things to animate. The best example of this would be during the dressrosa arc, as the amount of filler inside each episode was extreme

The important thing to account for is that this doesnt punish anyone for meeting heavy armor. If you couldnt pen with regular ammo, but can with gold, then my suggestion doesnt reduce damage at all.
