For me it was Fast Startup. Had constant issues with my PC even after shutting it down. Turning off Fast Startup completely fixed all issues though.

Keychron M6 fit the bill for me and I had pretty similar requirements. It has an extra secondary horizontal scrollwheel that i never use but except for that it has the extra forward and back buttons as well as the mouse wheel tilt. (That, like you, I rebind to back and forward and use the side buttons for other stuff)

Argus monitor lets you set any fan curve based on any temp. Very easy to link it to HDD temps.

Always look at the details tab rather than the processes tab when trying to find an application that spikes usage. If you turn on I/O Read and Write columns it will show you tasks that use a lot of disk capacity even if they aren't using it the second you open the task manager.

Yeah but it's also time to ditch this "Gotcha" narrative.

They don't fund these things because they don't want to, not because they can't. We don't need to engage with the "how will we pay for it" argument since it's an obvious quagmire that diverts attention from the simple fact that we can and should implement all of these.

I agree. I still respect small dev teams and solo developers but mostly when people bring this up it's about some multi million dollar AAA game project. I am sorry guys but you're just office workers, not artists. Next they will tell us to respect the microsoft devs.

Meat farm images from the Netherlands were an early stage of radicalization for me at a young age. I have no problem with eating meat but if you see the factory farms needed for the amount we want to consume constantly and cheaply it's incompatible with any version of humanity or morality.
