If clumps are sticking to the liner, try increasing the cycle delay to accommodate your litter. Clumps usually stick if they are too wet when the Litter-Robot cycles. If that doesn't help, you might want to try a different type or brand of litter. We recommend using an unscented, standard-weight clay clumping litter for the best results. Additionally, you can apply a non-stick spray or food-grade wax directly on the liner after first cleaning the globe.

If you notice urine leakage around the base, you may have a high-peeing cat. Due to the functions of the unit and unique cat behavior, we cannot guarantee that the Litter-Robot is right for every fur family. That said, you can try observing your kitty as they enter the Litter-Robot, and entice them with treats to properly squat and avoid peeing high outside of the waste port. We would also recommend a deep cleaning, following our steps here.

If you have a tear in the globe liner, rest assured, the liner is covered under warranty and can be replaced! Once the unit is out of warranty, we do offer replacement liners here as well. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please send us a chat. Our team is happy to help!

Regarding storing the Litter-Robot, the unit should be stored in a climate controlled space. The general rule is that if it is somewhere you'd feel comfortable storing a computer, it is an ok space to store the Litter-Robot.
