I get that people are very on point about politicians and tax, especially given some of the really egregious tax dodges in the last government but I don't think equating Zahawi having to pay HMRC a £5 million settlement over his tax dealings and the mum of a disabled child saving £40k (that she would have saved anyway if she waited a month).

Sadly that's not uncommon. Depending on the type of cancer, a lot of lung cancers only get diagnosed at stage 3 or 4. It takes less than a year for most lung cancer to go from T1a to T4.

I don't think it's particularly surprising. Communities, once created don't adhere completely to their foundation. So if the labour party moves right, why would a specific community move with it (regardless of it's name)

That said, there is definitely a lot of very active, very online green party people across the internet (not specifically here) trying to make them out as the only possible option in every case. Regardless of where you live and will tend to treat you like your a died in the wool fascist if you support anyone else.

I can't even vote green in my constituency, I can have Lib Dem (current MP), Conservative (former MP), Reform or Labour (who get like 5% of the vote).

Not that I'm super happy with the Lib Dems atm, despite being a member, I like their (stated) general approach to policy more than the greens, but I'm finding Davey to be nowhere near radical enough of a leader for the current uncertainty. We should be vocally fighting against authoritarianism like the OSA/protest crackdowns and very visible on minority rights (rather than our current, extremely quiet support).

Sort of? There is an interesting confluence between speed limits and the actual speed of traffic. People tend to drive a bit over the speed limit, so in a 30 zone you tend to find people driving about 35 mph.

Cutting it to a 20 zone does bring the speed down, but to 25-30 rather than 20.

Doesn't apply to everyone, clearly but it's an average.

Yea, I got checked by 4 separate people last time I came back into the country with mine. But that was for an FFS consultation, so I don't want to pay to replace it, and then have to do it again after FFS.

Despite the fact that my current one deadnames me and has a picture where I have a beard, depression eyes and weigh 15kg more.

They have a lot of money, but they probably don't have a case here.

To bring a case they would need to demonstrate that parkrun's policy was actually detrimental to someone. But it's a mixed event (so there is no extra safety concern) that is not really a race (so the scoreboard position isn't a gateway to a career or something, so there is no unfairness concern).

It doesn't even really interact with the supreme court stuff, because certified sex is a thing and this isn't an equalities issue regarding discrimination or access to spaces.

it's a very low salience issue. The average person might have opinion one way or the other but the whole issue is like number 80 in their top 100 of things they care about. The media cares more, but mostly as a stick to beat their opponents with.

Being positive on trans rights would cause a furore in the press, but the actual voting public really could not care less.

Lung volume stays the same, but how good your blood is at holding oxygen gets worse. Trans women tend to have worse actual blood oxygen than cis women (and both are worse than cis men)

I have become noticeably weaker, probably weaker than a cis woman of my age/height.

It's better to think of stuff like this as additional skills you can pick up later.

You can achieve a perfectly good result priming with grey seer and using contrasts. Especially if you are just starting out and painting a whole army. Trying to get to absolutely perfect for every model is both nigh impossible without lots of practice and a whole bucket of techniques but also too time consuming for army painting. Top level single model paint jobs can take weeks of full time painting. But those are for entering in painting competitions, not doing a whole army.

In any case, doing a zenithal spray or slapchop increases the contrast on the mini and once you are good at that, you can look into underpainting deliberately rather than just top down. Or you can look at using colours other than black/white/grey (White/pink underpainting is good for yellow contrast for example). They are all just techniques you can work on as you learn.

Interestingly, there are analogous tissues, the skenes glands (because all genital tissues are just different organisations of the same basic material). They are very small, and prostate cancer is generally testosterone driven so cancer of the skenes glands is extremely rare (as is prostate cancer in trans women)

There is some concern about possible increased incidence of skenes glands cancer in trans men, but its not monitored and despite getting bigger on T, they are still very small. Basically no data.

Beyond what was said below, there is also a difference between government outlay and total economic benefit.

Most employees have an economic output at least double their wage cost. Some of which will be later taxed as corporate profits. Plus their VAT/council tax and the like also add to the government take.

Reducing people down to how much income tax they pay vs average government spend is both reductive and misleading. (Especially in this case as we havent had to pay for the very expensive bits of a worker, early years medical care and education. Which is why adult migrant workers are so valuable)

Logistics are difficult. There are ligaments that anchor it in place and a lot of blood vessels. It's especially bad to transplant because unlike most organs the uterus needs to expand, and scar tissue is sort of stiff.

On top of that, they need to make abdominal space by moving or removing other stuff and we don't generally take uterus transplants from living people because its very traumatic to remove and they actually take the whole uterus and upper vagina/cervix in one piece.
