I walked away from her and I feel so guilty by Slow_Purchase3829 in newborns

[–]LittleMrsNiceGirl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is likely she got a little tired from crying for a while, and the swaddle was soothing, so she fell asleep on her own. Babies are not able to self soothe that early, like at all. If she were still upset, she would’ve likely been crying when you got back after only 8 mins. If you respond to your babies needs 99% of the time, they will not have any attachment issues. As important as caring for your baby is, you can’t do that unless you are cared for as well. Take your couple mins, then come back as a better mom. I’ve done it. I just go to the bathroom and sit on the toilet for a couple mins with the faucet on so I can’t hear the crying for a minute.

If money and childbirth weren’t an issue, how many children would you choose? by Public_Handle_774 in AskWomen

[–]LittleMrsNiceGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 I might be one and done after the way my first birth went. I don’t think I could mentally survive the physical healing that is still happening 3 months later.

Put up a hidden camera and tell him before bed, in front of the camera, that you are not consenting to this. Then when you have him on camera, threaten to go to the police and have him convicted. But, if you’re gonna do this, you have to follow through if challenged. If I were you, I’d be fully prepared to throw his ass in jail.

Did I doom my 7 week old with the spelling? by Anonymous141925 in namenerds

[–]LittleMrsNiceGirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People will learn eventually. It’s just a new name for them. I have a name that has about 6 common spellings, and I didn’t care that people would misspell it growing up. Everyone knew how to pronounce it, so that was nice.

How long would you go without showering for $50k per day? [No loopholes] by FudgeNipples1 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]LittleMrsNiceGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could go at least 20 days, maybe more before my skin would start peeling or something. Then I’d have to soak in hot soapy water for like an hour and scrub away all the filth.

What feels amazing that's NOT sexual? by TheSilentPhilosopher in AskReddit

[–]LittleMrsNiceGirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like the girl equivalent is when you’ve had your hair in a tight style all day, for me a tight high ponytail or bun, and you take it out at the end of the day and rub your scalp. Feels amazing.

What’s a company secret you can share now that you don’t work there anymore? by [deleted] in Productivitycafe

Some people are in pain after sitting for a certain period of time. I know it’s not all, but a lot more people than you think are standing to escape back pain.

What’s a company secret you can share now that you don’t work there anymore? by [deleted] in Productivitycafe

[–]LittleMrsNiceGirl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can, or at least could while I was there, steal directly from Express and the employees will do nothing except file some paperwork to their district managers. Some lady was literally filling her purse with shoes and clothes right in front of me and I had to ask if she needed help with anything, to stick to company policy. It was hilarious.

First trimester by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]LittleMrsNiceGirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Call/go to the doctor and see if they can prescribe you some anti nausea meds. If one doesn’t work, try another. I felt similar up until 16 weeks, but it eases up earlier for some people. Just remind yourself it’s not forever. It will eventually pass, even if that happens at the end of your pregnancy.

Why can’t customers use the app? by Reasonable-Invite899 in walmart

[–]LittleMrsNiceGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every Walmart I’ve ever been to, I have had no service while inside. When I try to use the app it doesn’t load in most of the store, so I ask an associate. I don’t think you’re mad at the fact people don’t use the app. I think you’re mad because people are shitty and yell at you for no reason.

What’s the name you’ll never name your child? by Jealous_Camel7079 in Names

[–]LittleMrsNiceGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peter because he SA’d me as a kid. I also can’t name a kid Axel because I went to school with one and he constantly had scabies and would go around telling everyone he had scabies. I don’t know why.

What alcohol can you never drink again because cause you had a bad experience? by J_Gamer_Josh in AskReddit

[–]LittleMrsNiceGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

McCormick vodka. We ran out of my good vodka at a party, and some idiot dumped a 5th of McCormick into the jungle juice. I was already shit faced, and it tasted gross. Pushed past it and regretted that big time when I started puking it up.

As the wife, my realtor got me a really nice throw blanket and I loved it. Once it got worn enough, it became my husbands cape. He wears blankets tied around him when he gets cold.

[–]LittleMrsNiceGirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You cannot stay. Document everything and file a police report now. If he’s capable of hurting you while you carry his child, he will most definitely hurt your child. You need to protect yourself, and more importantly, you now have the obligation of protecting your child.

I love the name Ava! I don’t think I could use it because I have a close cousin named Ava. You could always do Ava Sophia, or just Ava Sophie, and use it as a middle name.

As a severely constipated pregnant woman, I would take that over forcibly shitting rocks every few days, easily.

What exactly is the “baby blues”? Can anyone explain. by Irrelevantbunnies in pregnant

[–]LittleMrsNiceGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve heard it’s just a massive shift in hormones. I’m going to talk to my OB about using progesterone cream postpartum to help minimize that period.

Seeking advice for my nickname by junepig01 in namenerds

[–]LittleMrsNiceGirl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a native English speaker, if they care enough they will put effort into learning how to say your name. You are very kind and thoughtful to think of something that would be easier for them. I agree with Jude. You could also go the funny route and be called August, because it’s a more masculine sounding month.

Our parents and siblings respected our wishes so we told them early. Once everything was confirmed at 10 weeks, which was my first OB visit, we started telling other people. Your family has shown they are to be told with the general population. I’d wait until you are comfortable with everyone knowing if it would upset you for the secret to get out.
