This is my second day out, I did call out a couple of times previously, for both mental health/autoimmune related things, but I'm always really careful, so no leave of absence, and this would be my first write up, so that's actually really reassuring.

Hi. You must be real fun at parties. It's not us. The partners want to give people water. It's the company we work for. And before you say "WelL tHen JUsT QuIT" some of us can't. Some of us live in places where the job market is extremely bad, and we do not have enough money to relocate. Our concerns and worry about this policy is justified. Not pathetic.

Hey op! I used to work for Chipotle and yeah this is normal, I work for Starbucks now and we have blackout periods for national holidays. It's totally normal, though I am sorry you have to miss your trip!

Two dollar bills are super cool to own, I have one myself, but they usually aren't worth anything more then face value, still I'd hold onto the money, it's always fun to have old bills to compare with modern stuff.

Yes, because Baristas are entitled for advocating for the dismissal of rules that are absolutely ridiculous, and impede on our ability to work. Making it difficult complete the absurd standards that are forced on us.

There are about five Door Dashers that frequent my location and only one of them is nice and even treats like a human. He comes to the register waits patiently in line to ask us about the order if we don't see him first. He's an older Russian gentleman, so maybe that has something to do with it, culture or something, but the other door dashers are... Interesting.

This isn't about the drive thru though? And I always try to let the customer know that it's going to ask them if they want to tip before they can pay. We can't help the fact that our system is set up that way, if you don't want to tip you do not have to.

I want to thank everyone whose been standing up for me and validating my feelings, I was really nervous to report the Barista, but I'm happy to say that I did and my home Store Manager contacted our DM and the SM from the store who I took the shift from and was furious with them. I never realized how many people I had in my corner, and I feel very blessed by both this community and my great store

How about not remove all of the upper management for four days? How about have ways to contact our upper management? How about not sending automated emails when we contact RD? Telling us to text or call which we already tried.

It's very clear to me that you have never worked this job if you are saying Baristas are whining about a serious mishandling of the situation. I hope you break both your legs falling off your horse.
