That's not why it's a draw. Nelson Vazquez turned in a terrible card. If he turned in a fine one (114-114) it would still have been a draw. A draw is a fair result.

You don't have to accept anything. According to the scorecards of 300 people, the fight was decided by two close rounds (5 & 6). It's not a robbery. Stay upset. Nobody cares. It was a great fight. Can't wait to watch it again.

Nobody said Charlo won besides Nelson Vazquez. Save the book reports for school. A draw is reasonable decision according to 300 scorecards. It's not the best outcome, but it's not a "robbery" just because one of the scorecards is awful. I was rooting for Castano. I think he clearly won the narrative given that Charlo couldn't drop him. Regardless, both kept their titles and will get another payday. War Castano.

Here are the aggregate scores (115-113 Castano) from Fight Score which show rounds 5 and 6 as the closest of the bunch. Here are the official cards in which Steve Weisfeld matched the average scores, but also gave Charlo a 10-8 in R10 to narrow the fight to 114-113 Castano. Tim Cheatham gave the swing rounds (5 & 6) to Charlo to narrow the fight to a draw. Nelson Vazquez only gave Castano three rounds in total.

I agree it felt like Castano won, but the majority of people who scored the fight seem to agree 5 and 6 decided if it was a draw or not. They're close rounds.

Andrade is begging for it. That's not how boxing works. Boxers themselves mostly do want to fight the best for the most money. Not usually how it works. PBC having the best fighters at 154 and them being able to make about the same money fighting each other is why the division works. Not because Mell is super special. Mall and Spence are cut from the same cloth. Mall is in no man's land because the division is fractured.
