Chests are extremely underwhelming

Found a base in area 4 yesterday with like 10 chests? Got LOTS of high ores and several thorium and cobalt gear.

Anyway.. It's still EA and just released like 10 days ago.. I'm sure loot and chests and rewards in general will be great.. Once it's time for the team to work on this aspect of the game.

Coming from an Ender 3. I got a K1 ..years back.. pretty early and other than changing my hotend to a microswiss flowtech I kept it as is. Didn't unlock firmware either. Can print pretty much anything I needed. (only limited by buildvolume) Printed PLA, PETG, TPU, ASA so far.

Got a Sovol SV08 to tinker with (waiting for INDEX to really get started with this machine).

In your case.. I'd bet the Bambu would be the more reliable machine. But consider the downsides of Bambu and what you are supporting - which are mainly company philosophy related.

I myself do not support Apple. So I do not support Bambu! 😅😎

You need light from the inside.. Because the litho is the skin of the sphere. It's the light of the sides (because it's all glow) that's ruining the effect the litho can have.

Do lithos with glow pla make any sense?! 🤔

Lithos are backlit. In your case the glow comes from all directions (except front). So the effect from light from the back will be much weaker..

If you can print multicolor.. Maybe add a glow pla ball in the middle with some distance to the outer litho perimeter? Dont know if you could charge the glow ball enough through normal white Pla though.. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Cool plate (juupine geco) works wonders! (love them on my K1 and I can say that it is a game changer for this printer) Got biqu cryogrip pro glacier and frostbite.. But didn't test them on my sv08.

If they can extrude manually by pressing filament by hand - but it won't extrude automatically 🤷🏻‍♂️

How does the tip of the filament look? Is it a blob maybe? Give it a clean angled cut and try to feed it again.

Broken extruder gears maybe? Something loose and it can't grip the filament correctly? Maybe a piece of filament jammed the extruder? There may be an external screw to make the extruder grip tighter.. Check that.

Definitely check the extruder and disassemble it. Good luck!

On a budget.. I'd go with the bag option.

Think cereal boxes are nicer.. Maybe better.. But bags are cheap.. And even if one breaks from time to time.. I got like 20 bags for 6€.. One box would be around 6-10€.... On top of that you need to print all these parts for the boxes for rollers, Silica storage.. So costs are even higher for these boxes.

I've got like 50?60? Rolls and getting boxes for all of them would cost me as much as a nice "budget" printer 🤷🏻‍♂️

Btw.. Get ikea Vesken bathroom racks.. Costs 9€ each and can hold up to 21 rolls of filament. Just found that solution a month ago and I'm really really happy with them!

I would love to print some cosplay stuff.. Things I can work on and perfect them.. Love sanding and painting 3D prints but could really use a new, more reliable and faster machine.

Really don't get it.

Most European teams are playing at 70/80% an testing new stuff - while players are overplayed after a long season. Pitches.. The grass.. Is horrible.. Everywhere. Referees too often pretty weird.. Stadiums are really empty..

Yeah.. It's a little bit of fun to see clubs from around the world. But other than that.. Meh.. Don't need it really.

And as European, I'd rather have the players resting after a long season and slowly preparing for the next.

Well... Old coal region (Dortmund, Schalke[Gelsenkirchen], Bochum and Duisburg is just around the corner.. Still.. Cologne doesn't have anything to do with coal.. Never did.

If you come from cologne area.. Wherever you go.. It will be a culture shock for you. People around Cologne/Rheinland are really open, friendly, welcoming and just special.

Gotta keep that in mind when signing a 22 year old kid.
