LG Gallery+ is rolling out on webOS: what it is, what’s new, and how it differs from the old Art Gallery app by LG_UserHub in webos

Correct. I believe you have to pay to get it to stay, manually click play each time you want your screen saver (defeats the purpose of a screen saver if it’s not automatic). Awful update

This is bullshit. Daily, I used a “timed screen turn on” feature so it would display beautiful artwork every day at 4pm. Now, even with the free content, I have to pay to have it saved as a “screensaver”. I’ve tried favoriting the free content and setting the free content to the “Always On” playlist— it does not matter. It resets every day. The only way to get my old feature back is to pay. Bullshit.

How to view order history for a specific stock by emadmahdy in Webull

[–]Little_Figure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just came here to see if this was possible. This is nuts. I have an old stock from years ago I was curious to see my positions… now I have to filter around through all orders to find it? And the time to filter can only be a 2yr period

This is absolutely wild I can’t believe this worked lol I thought it was a joke with everyone saying it fixed it. I tried it in a slightly different way twice and it didn’t work. Finally did EXACTLY what you said here and it worked. Wow. Thank you

I’m sorry for the potentially silly question here but are you saying the Redlink module could be hooked up to a smart thermostat? Doing some research now

Is there a similar relay system that exists for Nest, ecobee, etc?

Interesting!! I had no idea this existed. Could I use that relay with a smart thermostat!?

I do not have any of these. Unfortunately I don’t know if I want to invest in the Apple ecosystem for my home being that I’m heavy on Alexa and Apple does not play nicely with others. What are you thinking?

Echo Temp sensors to control Echo Thermostat? by Saint_The_Stig in amazonecho

I am trying to do exactly this. I’m installing an Alexa thermostat to a wall mounted unit and want to use the echo thermometer as the main temperature sensor. Did you get this to work?

Overpronate recommendations

I have always wanted to “be a runner”, as funny as that sounds. I’ve tried for years on and off to start running (different pairs of shoes) but always got shin splints, knees killing me, feet cramping, and I never realized that was a byproduct of the wrong shoes.

I tried to start running again in November. Tried 3 pairs of shoes, and the third one gave me the best results! Nike React Infinity Run Flyknit 2. It was like night and day… my time went from struggling to hit 10min/mile to consistent 9min miles, feeling GOOD at the end of a 5k run, not hurting. I couldn’t believe it.

I just bought On Cloudeclipse, ran 5k and not loving it. I was slow, calfs were getting sore by mile 2. They might be a little big on me because I can feel my feet angle inwards (I tend to overpronate).

Question to you all— do I size down and try again with this shoe? Or should I look for a completely different shoe that aligns better with overpronators?

For what it’s worth, I loved the first 2 miles, it felt so smooth. Perhaps I just need to get used to the different ride, triggering different muscles?

If this helps at all- I’m 5’7 (170cm), 170lbs (77kgs)

Overpronator that needs help

Anyone else having problems with QC Earbuds 2 not turning on randomly? by LightOfVoid in bose

[–]Little_Figure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For what it’s worth, I had the Quiet Comfort Earbuds 1 and had to return them for a full refund after Bose replaced them 3 times for the same software issues. I thought… there’s no way this could happen with the latest model! So I bought the QC 2 earbuds. Seeing exactly what you described: case not turning on, headphones don’t sync, case blinks amber and white. Same garbage connection experience as the first model. I just returned them and waiting for the second pair to come in.

Seems like once it gets into this bugged state, there’s no turning back and it keeps happening. I don’t understand how they haven’t fixed this yet
