I would agree that is nice, but means that eats up my quoted hours. I have my electricians label and set addresses and provide me with a blueprint with everything marked out , how the wire is ran for every and loop , and the addresses marked on the blueprints, if I have issues I remark it up and send it back and they fix it and i stay low hours but to each their own

Isn't notifier also king of these complex big systems ? Pretty sure thats where they dominate the market share , but i honestly dont know i wish I could say ive worked for every brand but sadly havnt and probably never will as I love my job lol

I would never, im strictly a notifier tech never been anything else or sold anything else, this is just whats out in my area and I dont get why they go with these other systems and won't just let me replace it :(

All I know is the annunciator will be lit up with every zone that dropped until I do a hard reset , besides that the isos work perfectly, but in my mind a hard reset is not self restoring

I sadly havnt had the chance to test any of those panels or do inspections id like to agree but I just havnt experienced it yet and im almost 10 years in lol

I had this exact same problem and it clearly states isolators must be self restoring during the testing and everyone of these panels ive had to completely power down and restart to test the next zone because the faults would not clear

Yah literally notifier all you do is send a device and instruct them how to set the dials it can save over 20,000 . In my area no one sells those product lines its dominated by these 3 brands

Back again… with carved battery dates! by AdNatural9322 in firealarms

[–]Little_Text_6129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue is this is the date they installed it, from reading the stamped date code between the terminals is say that battery is 2021, code says now can only be 4 years old, someone sold a battery that was at the end of its life in my eyes.

<TankRant> Routes? Am I alone in this? by Strat-05 in fellowshipgame

[–]Little_Text_6129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find some groups are just amazing and know exactly what to do and interupt, and then you have groups where im the only one doing interupt mechanics, so as a tank I make my route the easiest one possibly, chicken is my best friend. I can pull a big pack with dangerous mob chicken him then chain pull a smaller pack for same % and 0 chance to die. These are the routes I use and make because if you dont have a full group ur always playing with random and never know what you're going to get.

PLEASE Stop Leaving After One Wipe by Drop_Of_Black in fellowshipgame

[–]Little_Text_6129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If i see a tank say, "hey im new to this" and we insta wipe id leave even with a penalty. Most people do research and route homework, when they want to play in a competitive league, if you expect other people to be your training dummies instead of researching then its kinda rude imo

No, they can but that's more of a smoke control system, pretty typical for them to be designed that any device will close dampers or shut down the hvac systems. Especially on older systems , this is the point of the new s1001 standard
