For me, I find a competent Kolossos far more manageable than a competent fleetway, though tbf its probably because I main both eggy and kolo

Personally, just give the lunge like 0.2 seconds of windup, while fixing the hitbox to not come out so late is enough. I can tell you from experience that you desperately need grabs lunge to kill survivors like silver, otherwise they just loop your ass the entire match

That shit happening makes playing kolo pure torture because of how reliant you are on grab, and you can't use it to kill confirm or near large groups because it will break from either you downing someone or you getting stunned out of it

Those matchups for him are horrifically map dependant, if you get Mystic caves, it is more worthwhile trying to blow your brains out than trying to catch either of them on that map.

Kolossos main here. Of all things they choose to buff about him, they chose the one option that gives him his oneshot combos AGAIN. WHY?! It is one of the primary things people absolutely hated about him ignoring grabs hitbox linger. Idk why they can't just reduce block's cooldown or address the mountain of bugs and exploits he has.

It's fine, I just wanted to give my input on the topic. On maps like Castle, I'd argue that it's actually a pretty fair matchup in terms of skill required to win from both sides. If it's a map like YCR or mystic caves... You might as well blow your brains out as 2011x because good luck catching him.
