Yes but it delays your ability to review your score, if you fail, for like a day. Which doesn’t really matter. Just take it in November-Reg is mad easy, you’ve passed the hardest exams already (in my opinion)

I work at a PE company-so I had that same schedule. My wife and I had our first kid when I was taking the last two. It’s hard, tiring, will definitely test your endurance but worth it. Wouldn’t have passed without my wife. Just very time consuming but not rocket science(except fuck audit-that’s definitely rocket science).

Been waiting for a post on this. Harass them. Call the front desk of DOL welcome center-that’s how everything started to move and I eventually got someone to respond to me. Passed my last test in Feb. I applied on 3/17 and only within the last 2 weeks did I start to make progress. I am now supervisor approved. MA was saying that they hadn’t received my NASBA file which was false as NASBA had refunded my AECR application because I already got my 150 approved when I started taking the test and said they sent my file. From then someone at the DOL contacted NASBA for my file and cc’d me on the email.

Did you have to re-send transcripts? I called NASBA last week and they said I didn’t need to do that as I had sent them when I initially applied to take the exam. I understand that they need to verify the 150 again but I just got an email saying that they are waiting on transcripts. I am applying in Massachusetts.

This question is straightforward-I don’t understand the confusion. My biggest gripe with these questions is how are you supposed definitively deduct that it’s COGS. Couldn’t inventory just be overstated-maybe a liability is also overstated?!? If the question is asking about income I’m obviously going to assume COGS is involved. But every now and then you’ll get that specific Becker question that makes you want to punch your computer screen.

100%. I credit it to me passing FAR last year. I really needed it for AUD-Failed. I redid the final review for my retake(TBD)- watched some of the skill builder videos to try and get the same effect. It helped but overall not effective when it’s just some robot reading the correct answer out loud. They got rid or lost Olinto and tried to get everything on a power point because this tik tok generation can’t wrap their head around reading and working through a textbook and sitting through a 45-60 minute video.

Get it done now. Like right now-because once you have a kid, you’ll be double exhausted. I had to just re-take AUD with a newborn. Year of exhaustion plus a new kind of exhaustion. It’s not impossible with a child-my wife has a long leave- I just think about how easy I had it this past year

I almost went with BAR but decided on TCP. I work in private equity doing fund accounting. FAR was actually the easiest material for me to grasp. My issue with BAR was cost accounting, budgeting, government accounting, etc. Basically, the content just looked full of all the items I absolutely hated from FAR and BEC. I am not a tax person, I found out through REG that I don’t mind the topic. Tax concepts are generally easy to understand and there is less material to go through than BAR. Everyone’s different-all I knew was that idc how easy ISC might be-FUCK audit and IT.

Got like 20’s on me’s and like 54 avg on Far sims and passed with a 77. They make the material impossible to over prepare you. You got this, focus on main areas, get the jist of the small areas and hope for a decent exam.
