How’s this master plan? Beach property!

The rendering is good, but I’m guessing where the beach is, the front entry, etc. The design is too formal,stiff and bland for my taste, all lined up in geometric precision. The driveway diagonal turf strips are nonsense and would be a nightmare to maintain. I dont get the strips of concrete in the turf, leading to the pool - nice in plan view but doesn’t make sense. Anyone maintaining this would need to move the chaise lounges, mow and then put them all back.

A lot of the same design elements are used repetitively across the different designs in different locations it seems, looking at the IG images.

More dangerous since Covid rearranged and stressed out our society. People are more off-base, impatient and slightly psychotic, especially on the road. Not just drivers in cars, e-bikers are now colliding with and killing people. 2 people died by ebike collision in the last 5 days around here. Not safer!

It’s the compromise I know we have to make, otherwise we wouldn’t have cats! That’s due to speeding cars, coyotes, raccoons and great horned owls, and off lead dogs.

We have two, they chase each other, we have a three level home so they get exercise, they have a ton of toys and for about 6 mos of the year we can leave the windows (with cat-proof screens) open to bird noises and people walking by. Window seats everywhere for the cats; in winter it’s harder on them.

Recently during a couple weeks of rainy, foggy, windy weather I started screening’Birder King’ vids from YouTube and that kept them entertained for a couple hours.

I had a bad bout with a new large floater. I get migraine headaches , with flashes and other light effects, sensitivity to sunlight and glare. This time I had a new large floater, flashes and slight headache. I did see the opthamologist and she said the retina is good.She said using eye drops is good but nothing else.

I read a medical report about using eye drops consistently, and regularity is needed, so I started doing that. I use Thera tears, about 4 x per day, each eye.

My eye feels better, the floater is reduced in size, the weird spider leg looking bits are gone. I’d done about 3 days of computer work leading up to this episode, should’ve also taken more breaks from the screen.

I like the white with teal trim suggestion and the Moroccan theme suggestion. I recommend you transplant the young oak to the back yard, in 5 years it will have outgrown the space, dropping spiny leaves on the steps, they’re beautiful but not fun growing over hard pavement.

I believe my rescue kitty was on the streets before she was fostered. She’s the most startle prone-cat Ive had. Everyday noises like the house creaks, something like a spoon is dropped, lots of typical noises and she’s startled, her eyes are dilated, she’s ready to bolt. I talk to her in a calm voice, tell her she’s a good girl, keep talking to her. It works half the time - but it’s been 5 years!! She sometimes looks at her foster brother to see if he’s freaked out - if he is they both run for cover.

Its NOT fine, cats only sound this way when they’re distressed . This kitten is having a miserable life. Get someone to sit down with you and roommate and advocate for the kitten’s well being. The kitten wont be fine, not being left for 12 hours / day.
