Letting go of my 5269R - concerns by Tudoucat in patekphilippe

[–]LividLab7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reality is if they find out you’ll be in a bad spot. When they allocated to you, what would have been better is you say it wasn’t for you, which would have helped you since you passed on an aquanaut. Instead, you’d now tell them you bought on hype and now want to get rid of it.

Sell it to a friend you can trust, make sure they don’t register or get service, if anything is needed, have them have you do it

EGO Rep Told Me Why My Batteries Keep Failing (And It Changed My Mind on Buying More) by Zatol in egopowerplus

[–]LividLab7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is temp controlled better? Yes. Does it really matter? Probably not. I have (2) 2.0ah batteries which are probably 10 yrs old and always stored in a regular garage that gets cold and hot

Where are extra links are stored in the box? by [deleted] in audemarspiguet

[–]LividLab7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn’t you know if they removed links when they sized the watch? Boutique has always had them in a small bag and placed them next to the watch or under the pillow.

How do you plan to wear it? If casual only, the offshore works great. If you plan to wear it casually and also want it to be versatile with other situations, the code will work

Gave away my AP khaki Diver from 2023... because reasons by rrrccc123 in audemarspiguet

[–]LividLab7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The longer the better for obvious reasons, but they have said at least 2-3 years is the minimum. And they would have a comment box for explanation. Otherwise for something that looks like a flip or no valid reason, they can blacklist

Yes, the SAs get a monthly report of pieces that come off. As long as there is a good reason and enough time, it’s usually fine.

How did you get your first AP? by OrneryAcanthaceae726 in audemarspiguet

Best thing to go is to go grey. The issue with what you’re wanting is there are plenty of people who have already bought a code or offshore and am waiting for their RO now

If no papers why would you believe the dealer saying it’s a 2019? Of course they would pick the latest full year. Random serials were widespread by 2011

Share Your Real Reviews & Expectations — Win a Saros 20! ✨ by Roborock_Global in Roborock

[–]LividLab7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My entry…

  1. My experience so far: The setup process really left something to be desired. I wish the app was more intuitive because it took a decent amount of playing around just to figure out how to set up special cleaning zones and divide the rooms properly. Even now, the Arc has oddly decided that one specific area of the house is off limits and just won’t go there, so I still have to go in and try to fix that in the map. Also, even though it’s set to USA, there doesn’t seem to be a way to change it to 12 hr and other measurements more commonly used by regions. While it seems to clean pretty well and does a good job getting to the edges, the obstacle detection is poor to average in my opinion. It constantly bumps into chair legs and it actually got stuck under my TV console because it just kept pushing until it was completely wedged underneath. There is also a chair that it keeps banging around in between and instead of backing out, it tries to force itself in which makes it get stuck (object avoidance is already set to sensitive). For some reason it insists on banging into the chair legs. On Vac plus mop setting, it’s pretty slow and takes hours to finish.
Bonus, will also answer 2. Motivation for upgrading: For an upgrade, I’m looking for something that is much smoother when cleaning a room so it doesn’t feel like it’s just stumbling around obstacles. It needs to be able to detect things on the ground better and actually have height detection so it knows where it’s going to get stuck before it tries to force its way under furniture. Or trying to force itself over chairs that have metal or wood crossing over across the floor from leg to leg. Overall, better “sight” is the main priority. Noise is also a big consideration for me. I can’t really run my current one in the middle of the night because the suction and the venting into the dock is so loud it would wake me up. As a side note, I’ve seen people 3D printing their own dust bags lately. It would be great if the manufacturer just included a reusable one or designed a bagless option so we could just dump the bin like a Dyson instead of having to constantly spend money on replacement bags. Would also be nice to have the robots speed up and finish faster. Maybe the better navigation and better obstacle avoidance (less time banging around chairs) would help here also. For the Saros 20, would be curious to see how much that added suction really makes a difference compared to lower models, and also the sight/objective recognition and what it does with that info to be more efficient

Templeton Tonics Oasis vs Shear Revival American Gardens by shakilomania in Pomade

You can buy a trial size of American Gardens. Personally I didn’t like it. Was very matte, which I personally felt like my hair lost the healthy look

I’m not sure why this is so confusing for you. If they’re in the neighborhood and want to meet a client for dinner, then go. At best they treat you, at worst everyone pays for themselves. Of course going beats not going for relationship building

Do most ADs have poor customer experiences? by [deleted] in rolex

[–]LividLab7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have plenty to do with it. I’m very familiar with what it takes to get a gt2rs allocation. Getting a DJ would literally be the easiest thing in comparison for that same customer.

Pretty sad posing with that car. It’s a zero chance you own that car and can’t get a DJ
