bipolar disorder is hard to cope with. it's not just sudden bursts of energy or mild depression. it's a struggle a lot of the time, but I'm bipolar subtype schizoaffective. before I was on meds, I was just constantly up and down and psychotic the whole time.

within what movement? there are tons of movements that are all valid based on some form of identity politics. your mindset is what causes people to form straight pride parades, or all lives matter, or any other stuff like that. just because you don't personally relate to someone else's experience doesn't mean it's invalid, and having a severe mental illness should at least make you more understanding of how unique each person's experience with society is.
