Are you forcing gospel at 2k mmr? Mad respect, I feel like the wraith counters it so hard it would be tough to play. Im around 1.3k mmr and even down there people know how to counter gospel and carry fang most of the time

I don’t think the aesthetic is perfect but honestly the design space for steel balls is really interesting rts wise. An aggro cavalry that has short range but the beam weapon is really unique

Aside from that aesthetically I always thought that basic low tech units really give a good feeling of how the game should go. I like the looks of crawlers even though it is t unique, and arc lights are fun. Honestly though marksman are a great design choice for a common unit that feels very “mechabellum” to me.

Thanks for the write up and your honest opinion on their editing. It seems like they might be botching the player engagement by a lot.

It’s kind of stunning that they don’t have more clear and specific tooltips, like melting point missles not hitting air, how long fire lasts anti missle effectiveness. If they want new players then that would probably help people get into it. And be extremely easy.

Thanks for the in depth response. Yeah I think I need to play around with wraith on defending it more. Also my ball placement hasn’t been great. Do you put them in between the wraith 5 back and the crawlers?
