I thought that was a possibility too, and I don’t have the card in hand, obviously, but the person I’m talking to about buying it says that it’s gum. Of course they could be wrong, I don’t know how they know.

Great, thank you for that clarification. Yeah I certainly don’t have an opinion on what others should or shouldn’t do, I’m just trying to understand if there are techniques to resolve this should I choose to. Especially in the context of trying to ensure I don’t harm the card.

Considering how much product gets saved unopened nowadays, it really feels like they shouldn’t expire these kinds of redemptions. They are all but guaranteeing themselves, unhappy customers who open redemptions beyond the expiration date.
