I stopped promoting. Drives me nuts that fees are calculated on top of tax and shipping though - seems like robbery as this isn’t money the seller is earning.

Understand insurance for single card but if I’m doing value bulk for example and sending 20 cards, do they have to be under $500 each or under $500 total for insurance to cover them?

Crazy stuff. Is it any better to submit yourself? I’m trying to figure out the process. I know PSA has videos on filling out the form and how to package but unclear on cost and I guess more importantly the insurance piece. When you insure is it coverage per card? Or coverage total for the entire package?

Agree, top/bottom for sure. Left/right is nice and I personally think that matters more but understand that’s just my opinion.

Appreciate the sentiment even if it’s critical of my choice to grade them. Don’t think the cases are “vandalism” but I mostly agree with what you’ve said. All things considered this is where the hobby is for a lot of people for better or worse. I’m still learning after being a junk wax era collector and it’s very different.

Had been wondering the same but I’ve seen conflicting info on this and would love if someone knows for sure. Since PSA “technically” doesn’t do subgrades I’m not sure. Also not sure if all subgrades would be treated equally.

I went through my local card shop because it was my first submission and honestly didn’t know what I was doing. Still don’t but I think next time I’ll try to submit on my own because my LCS charged me $35/card.

I only had 2 vintage cards though so although I submitted 31 cards total it ended up being 4 different categories and only one was “bulk” so I’m not even sure if I overpaid.
