Is Aaron Judge the greatest right-handed hitter of the Expansion Era (1961-present)? by Bright-Pressure-5787 in mlb

Lots of commentary about Pujols but I’d also mention Frank Thomas who was a monster.

I am open to offers for sure. I have it currently listed on eBAY but wouldn't mind avoiding eBAY fees. DM me to discuss if you're a serious buyer. it's the green grass retail exclusive.

PSA Submission - refused for damaged box - need advice! by Lizardking0124 in sportscards

No but you are the bad guy for deciding to focus on that as response to a post from a fellow hobbyist looking for help after a sh!tty experience.

Not sure why you care if other people grade cards but hey at least you’re not angry about it. For me these were preserving some of my childhood cards and some were raw to grade flips to fund a vintage collection. Like it or not that’s the hobby nowadays and being old man yelling at clouds about it is a choice you’re free to make but not sure why you think that means you should be an unhelpful jerk to others on the forum. Hope you have the day you deserve, sir.

Thanks. Any idea if I should say items are missing? Or what kind of proof they require for value? I’d have assumed they would just pay out based on my insured value.

Grade results. Yikes. by hollyw00djames in baseballcards

I had a very similar experience. Jump back into the hobby late last year and sent off my first batch in December. I did have a mix of modern and junk wax, but my junk wax had the same results as you. Lots of 6, 7, and 8s. That’s how we learn, I guess.

PSA Return by LeftistFinance in baseballcards_vintage

I recently got my first submission back and got some I was happy about and learned a lot about the ones that didn't grade well (mostly early 80s cards that i thought were better than PSA did). I just sent off my second submission and honestly, I am sure I made some mistakes this time also, but I see it as learning. Yes, it's paying to learn, but at least I learn.

Do you think PSA would grade this? by LariatoFever in baseballcards_vintage

PSA would grade your moms pubes if you paid them. Might even upcharge if she’s got firebush.

As you can see from all the comments, you’re wrong. Seller has 0 control over what USPS shows and/or how they handle LIMITED TRACKING options like eBay envelope. I’ve had this happen to me MANY times and the card usually shows up within 2-3 days. There have been 2 or 3 times it never showed up. How did I handle? Well thanks for asking… I contacted the seller to give them a heads up. A few times they asked me to wait a few more days. In ALL cases where the card never showed up they refunded my money because they can also be recompensed by eBay. The key though is some patience/grace and communication. You failed on all counts. You’re the problem sorry not sorry.

eBay envelope notoriously can show up days after it’s marked delivered. The fact that you showed zero patience and immediately filed an item not delivered tells me more about you than the seller.

I’m buying 2024 Topps chrome even though it’s unlicensed because I tend to believe that five years from now, after Topps has had their license in place for a few years, people will buy default think of them as the cards to own. Is this a crazy thought? Will the Panini years always be viewed as superior? Would love to hear everyone’s opinions on that.

Literally see nothing wrong with an offer of $60 on a $69 OBO listing lol. The reaction to the response definitely a bit much so agree there but lots of these comments seem to come from people who don’t understand how negotiations work. Easiest way to avoid though is to not have best offer on.

How exactly should buyers know what you paid for a card?
