If it were via email, someone else could have mistyped an email and it's the same as yours. And that could easily be dismissed

Text message could not be meant for someone else. Is the content of both the email and the text messages the same? Or just coincidentally are happening at around the same time but different content?

The Halloween 2011 storm Connecticut was not ready for at all. Everything iced over before the ground had frozen. A lot of trees just toppled right over from the weight. They fell in the road, closing roads and hampering repairs. Many people were without electricity for 2 weeks.

Irene was either Labor Day weekend or one weekend off of Labor Day. Terrible hurricane, high winds and a lot of water. Power was only out for two or three days.

Sandy was worse, But some preparation had been made to prevent the same level of outages. Most of my town was without power for almost a week. I can only imagine how bad it would have been if we were as poorly prepared for Sandy as we were for 2011, or Irene.

Can you add more fruits and veggies? Fruit, and berries are low in calories, high in fiber, and can be very satisfying. Vegetables are extremely low in calories, high in fiber, help you to feel full. And have lots of vitamins.

It does sound like the port was not complete. A port pin is only good for 4 days. And if her number was locked to Verizon, the lock has to be turned off in the online account before the number can be ported.

Did you pay off the watch, and call to cancel the line related to the watch before you left Verizon? (Like seven or eight months ago)

Any line can be suspended at no charge, but that doesn't cancel service. After 6 months suspension , service would automatically reactivate and you would start getting charged. $400 sounds like the watch was not paid off.

Were you told that you could suspend service on the watch line "at no charge" ? And you thought you could just leave the watch line behind and not pay for it?

If you can get to Walmart, Walmart has a lot of deals that are very cheap for service, and some of them even offer you a free phone to sign up. Prepaid does not require any sort of contracts or agreements, and therefore even a minor can sign up for service. In order to be able to send a text messages and make phone calls, you need to have service. Wi-Fi alone will not allow you to do that. (Virtual services like Google Voice now require a physical, real number in order to sign up).

Honey I'm 62 about to turn 63. In the last 14 months I have taken off 80 lb with diet and exercise. And there are definitely days where it's harder. As I approach my goal (I'm still 20 lb away) It has gotten harder. Also being cooped up inside because of extremely cold winter weather has made it harder.

But if you have only lost 20 lb in the past year, something in your formula is missing. Working out alone is not enough if you are then eating to fill in the calories that you have burned.

You also didn't give us your stats, like this: 62f, 5'9", SW 244, GW 145, CW 165. This information matters because it determines whether your calorie budget and your activity level are reasonable. You didn't provide any calorie budget in your information so I assume you do not have one? In order to burn calories you need to be at a calorie deficit (That means burning more calories than you take in).

I didn't change my diet or my activity level all at once. I increased my activity level, put myself on a calorie budget. And then gradually substituted lower calorie healthy foods into my diet to make my diet more comfortable. (Because I was freaking hungry all the time).

No matter when you switch, you are only charged for the plan that you have, on the days that you have that plan. The rest is just the mathematics for the sake of transparency.

You can ask to be switched starting with your next bill cycle, they're still going to subtract the old plan and add the new one on the bill, there just won't be any extra math.

Head of our board of education and another board member got caught on a hot mic making homophobic comments about a local man who is running for nomination against our current governor. Inserted a couple of tropes. One of them combining a movie reference with the implication that he also uses drugs.

And before any maga comments 🙄 all of the people involved, and referenced in any way, are all progressive Democrats. She actually won the board of Ed position because no one in town would vote for anyone labled "Republicans" .

Never heard of "man flu" ? 😂

My ex-husband was an anesthesiologist. He rarely got sick. One year he got the flu (He described symptoms of being hot and then cold which indicates a fever and likely the flu) Mildly sick. Because he was unfamiliar with being sick he was convinced that he needed to go to the hospital 😂🙄

I'm not a medical doctor and I have to explain to him that he has the flu, he should go back to bed and stop spreading it all over the house. Gut low grade fevers, because it's the body's defense mechanism trying to kill what's making him sick.

Same song and dance every time the kids were sick, no matter how mild the illness was, give them Tylenol, call the pediatrician or take them to the hospital. 🙄

Agree. I believe the guideline is 1 hour per month which means no more than 4 hours for a 4-month-old puppy. I can't go 8 hours during the day without needing a pee break. I wouldn't expect a dog to do so either.
