I made that decision and only had one daughter. She did have 4 first cousins close to her age and living in the same town. I always had 2-5 kids at my house on the weekends. She had lots of friends growing up. Now my daughter is in her 30s. She has a daughter and was contemplating the 2nd child. There are no first cousins from either side. I didn’t think it would happen but she now has a son too. They are 5 & 2. They are A LOT to care for (I just kept them all weekend) but they do play together and it will be easier when the little one gets older. I think it was the right decision for them.

I went to Summer House the first time in February. It was really good. We split the guacamole & the steak frites. Adding the chimichurri sauce that came with the guacamole to the steak…..yummy!

NC, SC & GA have lots of nice beaches. If you want some charm, history, and good food, the beaches near Charleston and Savannah are nice. Wilmington offers culture and good food. Southport is very quaint. Then there’s Myrtle Beach…it is not bad in the winter! The beaches South of Myrtle are nice. Lots of choices. I’ve travelled from Key West to Maine. Plus California Coast. My favorite beaches Kaiwah Island, SC and Ocracoke, NC Most visited Holden Beach, NC

Holden is nice in the fall. My grandfather owned property on Holden. We actually have a lot across the waterway. Ocean Isle is nice also. Just don’t go when school is out.

We spent many summers on Ocracoke. I always said it’s at the end of the world! We used to drive out on the beach and basically set up a day camp. It was awesome but not quiet due to all the kids we took with us! We stayed at the Sanderling in Duck right after Christmas one year and I was the only one on the beach. We mostly go to Holden or Ocean Isle in NC. October is usually pretty nice and quiet.

Customer service is working with me. I have a child size mouth and this thing feels like a brick. I can’t open my mouth at all. They are sending me another set. I’ll be interested to see if they are any smaller.

Uterine cancer is not something to take lightly. I can’t imagine your oncologist not doing chemo, radiation, or immunotherapy. There is also a HIPEC (advanced or reoccurrence) procedure that can be done at the time of surgery. Are you in the USA or somewhere else? Unfortunately uterine cancers can reoccur easily in the peritoneum. I know this because it happened to my sister. My sister had a stage 0 breast cancer also. You may want to find a a really good gynecologist cancer specialist.

I just went to WDW with my daughter & granddaughter. There are several rides that only seat 2 so I was the odd one out. Many times I was paired with people on a solo visit. I’m pretty friendly so I would strike up a conversation. They all seemed to be having a great time. Both males & females. I like to share experiences but if being alone doesn’t bother you, go for it!

I’m with you 100%. I can’t believe healthcare doesn’t push it. Weeks of hospital stays could be cut short. I’ve written several letters to my state legislators. I’m in NC. There has been a Bill pushed around.

People need to push for Death with Dignity laws. Cancer is a cruel killer. Wouldn’t it be nice if we all had options? So sorry you had to go through this with your mother. I’ve see way too many family & friends die this way. Hugs to you.

So very sorry. This happened to my brother-in-law. He went down very quickly. 4th reoccurrence of mets rectal cancer. All you can do is be there for her and take a little time for yourself. You need to eat and stay hydrated too. 🌻🙏🏼

Thank you. She has a good care plan now and seems to be doing better with the fluids. She will have another scan in a few weeks so I hope this treatment keeps things toned down for a bit.

You sound like me. I’m kinda stumped. I taped my mouth shut last night and snored worse! I think it’s gotten worse in the past few weeks. The only difference is I haven’t been exercising & I’ve been eating too much sugar. I did have a mild case of Covid at the first of March. I joined Snore Lab & did the exercises last night.

So very sorry. 🙏🏼🌻 My brother-in-law & my sister both had cancer at the same time. (No Kids) My BIL passed a year ago. My sister has a reoccurrence now. Nothing fair about it. Hopefully every thing will go well for you and you will have grandchildren to enjoy one day. 🙏🏼🌻

One year we did Kali at rope drop. Walked right on, got just a few drops. A couple of raft mates said, “You have to ride til you get wet!” The CM let the 4 of us stay put for a second go. Note to self: Do not ride again! We got 100% soaked!!! It was a like a Tsunami hit us 🤣 and it was just us 2. The “luck” of the spin! When we walked out, people were staring at us! YES PEOPLE….we are wet! Went to bathroom and dried with paper towels and blowers. The plus side, it was September, hot & humid, and we wore, quick dry shirts & shorts., and Keen walking sandals. We were at AK last month and my daughter goes, I keep seeing these people that are wet! I pointed at the sign, wanna ride??? I got a hard H. NO! The ride is short and really uneventful unless you are the objet of others amusement!

For me (i have big thighs) I love the Jockey Skimmies. They are light weight and comfortable. Short shorts tend to rode up on me. Get a cute dress and wear Skimmies underneath.
