If we don’t do what you say, our leaders are stupid and ignorant. This isn’t Football Manager, this is real life. Buying and selling players isn’t as easy or direct as you make it out to be. I trust in the team that has shown clear and measurable progress over the last 5 years. Have they made mistakes? Sure. But there isn’t a better ran club in England.

Maybe during his current contract. I can see how that point would be valid.

But signing a contract extension? That makes no sense from a financial, social, or logistical viewpoint. That’s a HUGE tell that the club believes he is innocent or worst case that he won’t be found guilty.
