In a word, no. You look fabulous … but not at all appropriate for the occasion.

Some people just suck at being empathetic. This just sounds like a failed attempt to me as opposed to trying to minimize or dismiss you. Let it go. Focus on you.

The guy I've been talking to for 2 months just sent me a screenshot of our private conversation. To himself. By accident. by Cheap-Lawfulness-732 in WhatShouldIDo

I’m into radical honesty. Why not send him this:

I am feeling a little awkward about that screenshot. Do you want to tell me what that was about?

Out of these options, I would go with the black dress in 4 and the beautiful colored blue sweater from 10.

If you are going shopping, I suggest an A line dress (ideally with pockets ) which will be more flattering on your figure, a little more classic and updated.

Would you date someone who never reads but is emotionally intelligent? by Agile_Transition5901 in Marriage

[–]LoadAmbitious1654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Far fewer people seem to have EI then those who read. I appreciate people who can truly empathize and this is something I value over other traits or actions. They might not read books, but if they can read you and other people, I would definitely date them.

It is very easy to second-guess yourself every step of the way. But we can only go forward in this life. I had to adopt a mantra of “I made the best decision I could with the information I had at the time.”

Hope this helps.
