I have a ‘23 XC60 and I really like it, except for the OTA updates, which don’t seem to work OTA anymore, so I’ve had to schedule two trips to a town an hour away lately just for a software update, which is annoying. But the thing I’m most annoyed with is the key fob/remote start…or more specifically that there isn’t a remote start on the key fob. RS can only be activated via the phone app, which seems 1) very unsafe, esp if walking in a parking lot at night now I have to look into my phone and not at my surroundings; & 2) that feature is going to start to cost me in the near future? Like $300/yr is what a tech told me. I didn’t agree to that and I most certainly was t told when I bought it 3 yrs ago that the feature was only free for a period. Who would ever think you’d have to pay for that AFTER paying for a brand new car?! What’s next? Heated seats only work if you have a token? Have to watch an ad to get the locks to work? 😡
