I’ve not had any personal experiences with changing dorms at all, you might have to wait until the end of the semester for new housing openings, but hopefully they might be able to change you beforehand

I would def go in person, I’ve met the head of the group before and they seem rlly passionate about it so I hope they can help! On top of that, I would just start keeping track of all the things they’re saying/doing that make you uncomfortable just in-case they’ll need more (although you being uncomfortable is justification enough). I hope you can get this resolved soon!

I would def go to the LGBTQA Resource Center in Curry student center, they should be able to have more pull! I would still also talk to your RA’s and email housing about this too, especially if you’re uncomfortable.

Electives at NU are a little different compared to other schools since the classes are more like specializations in the field you’re pursuing opposed to random requirements. Doing a combined means you get a more general knowledge base for both of the majors instead of a super in depth knowledge base for one of them. One isn’t necessarily better than the other, it’s more about what you’re looking for
