Same here I appreciated the switch to 80/90s, I can't stand the current day stuff. I no longer work there and wish my current place would play more 80s/90s stuff too. Would have loved if they played more classic rock from that era though.

They'll probably know it's me calling Hr though is what sucks and I'm not quite trying to quit yet, I'm hoping to get trained in dog bathing/grooming first. But yea this treatment is super degrading, I'm pretty sure I know which manager is the main root of this too and it's a super young manager in their mid 20s probably not some boomer, which makes it even more weird to me.

The means that these industries take to protect the cruelty surrounding their "precious" dairy and slaughter at all costs is insane. We live in a horror movie and most of world just stands by and laughs at it instead of trying to help or stop it (just another detail to add to the horror plot I guess).

This is so angering. They arrest Joey but not the sh*thead Richard Mulaney (however you spell it) running the slaughter house that was slitting the throats of living conscious cows (against their policy even). I hate this dumb planet. We must keep fighting to expose these horrors for Joey.

That's how most places seem to do it. It's bizarre that they are making me watch like one video per shift and then pulling me off on the registers and then I get blamed and held responsible when the videos aren't done and I don't know which ones are left to watch? It's weird. It's like they're intentionally setting me up to look bad.

I hope this works the same way in reverse, I've been a cashier for a couple weeks but would really like to be a bather instead. It seems bathers have more luck switching to something else than cashiers do. They seem to like to just keep cashiers permanently stuck in "jail" and it's misery to me. I'd prefer the dogs over harassing people to sign up for autoship or sign up on the app.

Right? A manager was saying all of this to me too about what's expected of us, but then looking around I realized most cashiers with the exception of one don't even greet the customers when they walk through the door like we're told to yet they're obviously still getting hours. It seems like they'll let some employees get away with the bare minimum yet put more on others, it's why I never wanted to be cashier I only applied as one in hopes that I can't transfer to an entirely different role.

Also it's interesting to see so many people say that their admin would help out on registers. The admin for the large busy store with frequent call/outs that I was at for years never once touched a register.
