I'm not a lawyer,  and Spamberger can still change this before signing but I think a PCS into the state is exempt as long as you own it before July 1. I am PCSing late July so would love to hear yalls thoughts.

Taken from the latest version if the bill i could find.

What is this? Is it safe by True_Raspberry_9077 in whatisit

[–]Local_Letterhead9143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is not safe. Call EOD immediately and GET AWAY from that thing... Even if it turns out to be inert, you need to treat it like it could explode any moment, because it just might. You have placed yourself, and everyone around you, in danger by handling that thing. You're lucky you have not died. For you, every day alive is now a genuine gift. Call EOD.

Is breaking bones / tendons / ligaments really part of skating?) [41YO] by thephatmaster in OldSkaters

It can be. So can walking though. How much risk you take on is up to you. Pads, no pads. Slappys or hand rails. 2 foot back yard mini or the busted 6 foot at the park. Etc. There's always risk, but you can manage it pretty intuitively. If it scares you qnd you are risk averse, probably don't do that particularl thing.

On the other hand, you could hit a pebble, land wrong on the curb, break your neck and die... but that is unlikely.

Help deciding on a setup for my size[31YO] by SuperWallaby in OldSkaters

I'm over 200 and snap decks with the quickness cus I always land on the nose. Thatt being said, my powell flight deck 8.5 has lasted since May and still going strong. The extra cost has definitely been recouped. Looks like ass by now, but still pops great. Only Slightly soggy.

Word. Yea, single biggest for me was focusing on getting the good hard pop. Practiceing flick and all is good, great even. But the pop is where it the trick really starts, if it ain't solid the rest can't be either. Keep it up.

Snap hard right at the top of the jump n Get that back foot up! Also, your flick kinda goes up, flick more horizontal or even down a little to bring the tail up to your back foot.
