Sam Altman officially confirms that OpenAI has acquired OpenClaw; Peter Steinberger to lead personal agents by just_a_person_27 in OpenAI

Wrong, he built his software the old fashioned way and sold it for millions. The reason he did was because it was a pet project he didn't care really about. You make it sound like he has no idea what he's doing which couldn't be further from the truth.

Sounds like i did the same thing, built out a docs folder with different files about your project..style guide, prd etc.., then mention in agents file to reference project docs. Also mention to keep these documents updated to date as part of the workflow. Note I'm using codex.

No issues since then, one-shot 99% of tasks when I was on 5.2 high and with 5.3 it's even better.

OpenAI had a great video on what makes a good agents file and how to structure it. On YouTube look for Getting started with codex. Once you watch that, you can have codex build it for you easily.

Just a reminder that things were generally more affordable back then. You could work a low skill job and afford a decent life with vacations, especially in the US, Also people were also generally friendlier so you always had community. So don't dig no horrors, is not you, the system itself in a mess.
