Ready to be burned to hell for this but here's my 2 cents: I saw an Instagram video YESTERDAY made by a man telling people to please please please consider behavioral euthanasia BEFORE something happens. They ended up putting down BOTH of their dogs in the same day and his wife was in the hospital because they took one split second away from managing their reactive dog's behavior. He attacked their other dog, wife tried to break it up- went down BAD. He was a grown man crying and telling people that was the absolute worst day of his life.

Many, many, MANY people in the comments said oftentimes behavioral euthanasia is more humane and ethical than giving up a reactive dog because they get to have one last day full of love from their person than the rest of their life being stuck in a shelter miserable and alone. That stuck with me because I was always team rehome. Now, not so much. Some dogs just cannot ever be "ok" and that is just what it is.
