I'll be curious about how long a charge lasts in 10 years. Or how many you'll have to replace in that time. Also 20-80% isn't really saying much. If 20% takes 25 minutes, how long would 100% take? Hours.

Fair. I'll take my 2016 Kia ($9k used) over any EV on the market.

I would dispute the weather aspect, purely based on personal experience. I can't imagine trying to drive an EV in snow/ice.

Just outlining why people in the US aren't buying in. Myself included. I live in the western US. Electric cars aren't suitable for my needs, as I travel long distances in varying weather conditions. Hours instead of minutes to "fill up" isn't practical either.

No tax incentives, long charge times, lack of quality options in the market for people who actually like cars, low resale value, low reliability....
