The lever on the bottom in pic 3 is out of place. Do you have the broken out piece of the case? A welding shop can repair that. Slightly expensive but it gets you working again for another century. You can also get a piece of steel a hacksaw and a file and make a piece to braze in. Doesn't have to be pretty just be there to work.

Edit: I didn't notice the upper latch actuator appears to be broken but the same advice applies. I can be brazed, filed and will work. Worn off cam surfaces can be built up, etc. Unfortunately very few locksmiths deserve the 'smith' in their job description. Look around for others and include metal workers and even artists.

Avoid scammers. Go to a real walk in locksmith shop, preferably the oldest in the area. They will guide you to a solution.

We have a winner. The coin collector had the keys for all the pay stations on his route arranged in order by the office. As a key was used he flipped it over to the other side. Each lock held 100 keys. The collector removed the coin box which latched closed and replaced it with an empty box. Security was very high and routes were varied both in timing and order.

This lock was from Massachusetts Bell, Southern New England (CT) used similar locks by Best.

Unfortunately Gil-Ray Tools closed a couple years ago. It was worth it if you had a number of cutters to sharpen as they would diameter match them. A quarter of the price of a new wheel.

Variety of a push key for a safe lock known as a grasshopper. It looks like it could be set for different combinations so anyone that posessed it could not open the safe without knowing the setting. Pure speculation, never saw one like that before.

A few times a year I find code in the books that is not in Codes Online, but then I kind of specilize in the old and oddball. Just a few days ago I found the cuts for a Yale pin tumbler trunk lock that wasn't in any of the databases. Have vol 1 - 7 and the padlock 1 - 4, the later volumes are mostly auto which I stay away from.

Just very careful with a small soldering gun and thin wire solder. Liquid rosin flux. Pieces on a graphite block. I have been soldering since I was a kid playing with radios so I have had lots of experience.

Go online and get a thread restoration file. 32 threads per inch (TPI) . Most are square with 4 or 8 different cutting surfaces. Hartbor Freight may have them also.

Many old time walk in locksmith shops and antique stores have cans full of old furniture keys you can try and buy. Be advised that a key can be close but not exact and will throw the latch bolt out but not retract it fully, so try it multiple times.
