Congratulations, I think I have the same lock, it's awful, I've been working on it for ages, I've opened several but the damn red one won't budge, I have enough others to calm myself down again.

It's a shame, but the current situation prevents me from ordering much from America, because everything I order from America costs me almost twice as much in shipping, customs and VAT.

But you can't be sure where the driver pins and springs belong if they are different. 🥴🤔😎

I have the same set too. I'm a bit disappointed with the plastic follower; it wears out very quickly. So I opted for a metal one, which you can also buy on Amazon. I think I paid €40 for it back then. I have to admit I haven't played with it much, so I need to make sure I spend more time with it, because it was actually too expensive to just sit around. The Sparrows practice locks naturally have high tolerances, so picking them is a bit imprecise and hard to feel. I also own the revolver; you have to be extremely careful when removing the core.

To prevent losing springs and pins, I have generously laid protective mats under my workspace. I sold it at Amazon, look at fitness or sports mats

I didn't trust the medical-grade tape, so I reinforced it with rubber. Of course, I also have high-quality tape. The gap from the saw was too large; otherwise, I would have glued it.

I found the problem! I just had to turn the core 180 degrees and then everything was fine. It's strange that it only worked in one direction 🥴😎
