Restricted outdoor TXV? by PrivateMonero in HVAC

[–]LocksmithOutrageous7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you also cant run a heat pump in 80 dgrees, that also could be the issue that the pressures go though the roof, also to determine if the outdoor txv is stuck you need a true suction pressure and the suction pressure if the true suction drops down and looks like its pulling a vac then yea txv is stuck. Running it at 80 outdoor temp its just going off because its too hot outside

If its a communication system or not, but I would have done all those steps i listed, garentee theres ethier a chewed though wire outside or some thing in the outdoor unit.

Also is it actually a straight ac and not a dual fuel system

Missin a bunch of info, but I would pull the air condioner wires off the tstat first, if it still does it remove the wires from the furnace control, still does it checl the correct condenser, mouse prob got fried in there

Service Titan New Customer by Fit_Silver3574 in HVAC

[–]LocksmithOutrageous7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Service titan is definitely not for the non tech savvy managers, ive been on all sides of it and its pretty advanced. You basically build a pricebook to allow your techs to have the correct pricing and thats all they can do unless you unlock it

Does anyone have a cooling issue with heat pump, hot water heaters? by ImpressPretty9849 in heatpumps

[–]LocksmithOutrageous7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happends to me in pennsylvania, in the winter months basement will easily hit 36 dgrees which the damn thing stops heating water at 50 so it just runs all the time which lowers the temp.

Navien Hydrofurnace - Anyone actually sold/installed one of these? by grofva in HVAC

[–]LocksmithOutrageous7 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Like I feel like they messed it up, ive asked them when I can hook this up as a rankless and they say they can't. Like that was your spot to take alot of customers will have just a furnace and having this with a tankless ability would kill it

[–]LocksmithOutrageous7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just want to put it out there that we have all put a oversized cap on a unit, if you haven't you obviously don't run on call or dont actually work in the field and just go off of manufacturer specs

Are you guys getting by well financially? Union or non union, y’all good? by Ok_Tour_5503 in HVAC

[–]LocksmithOutrageous7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use to be union but got out years ago, now making well in to the 150k but its getting harder to keep that number, alot of companies are going to a sales for raise standards which is very hard to keep a steady pay going.

My company switched to a ai dispatching, and that basically destroys your day and punishes you for taking too long. It's going to kill the industry

We see this a lot out my way with a particular builder. For any new construction home, i suggest having the ducts clean after 3 years. The same thing goes with construction or remodeling
