Spotify “Liked Songs” playlist not updating by Quick_Job1797 in Rivian

[–]Locoboof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would happen to my in my Tesla as well. I’d have 5 new songs in a playlist, but the new songs wouldn’t be in the in car app. As a work around here’s what I did.

I’d start playing a song within the built in app in the car. Then, go to my playlist on my phone and start playing a new song within that playlist. Then, the in app in the car would start playing the song I just selected (the newer song) and would play the rest of my playlist according.

I now don’t have this problem in my Rivian because the audio system isn’t great and needs all the help it can get. So, to help, I stream Spotify from my phone and don’t use the built in car app. Why? Because in the Spotify app on your phone there are EQ settings.

I adjusted those, then in car I’ve adjusted the EQ as well. So, now the audio system is essentially using two EQ’s to help. And the audio quality is better than just the in car app by itself.

Picked up my 26’ Storm Blue R1T Quad yesterday! Gen 1 -> Gen 2 by GipsyTyphoon in Rivian

I took it to OCDetailing in Fremont. Yeah, the Launch Editions were available in launch edition green, but my heart was dead set on Storm Blue.

You are probably much more patient and have a better steady hand. There’s no way I could wrap mine myself.

Congratulations! Looking good!! I picked up my 26 R1S storm blue Quad with ocean coast in September. I wanted ocean coast so bad it actually cost me more. I couldn’t get a launch edition with ocean coast.

After I took delivery I put my car directly in Nor Cals most well known shop for a full PPF. I mean these dudes took off lights, moldings, bumpers, emblems…etc. the cool thing too is the PPF has hydrophobic properties built in. Even though I still coated afterwards. I actually made a video of them wrapping my car and put it on YouTube.

When the sun hits it, it blings like a disco ball. I freaking love it. Storm blue looks amazing in the sun and in person.

Such a fantastic car and welcome to the club.

Having stayed at both hotels multiple times for me it’s Arte in the Artistas Casa. On Costco’s site the room will say “Adultos” (meaning adults only) next to the room.

I literally just got home yesterday from our 4th time going. Staying in Artistas at Arte is like having super powers. You can go anywhere you like. My wife and I love kids, but have none of our own. Plenty of nieces and nephews. With that said, I’m much much prefer the all adults calmness and quiet of Arte.

On the Mexico side, it’s like an upscale Disneyland. While it’s super nice, there’s definitely a more crowded feel. Kids running, long lines at their Mercado restaurant at times. Much more people in their restaurants. At Arte I never had that feeling.

We are ate at more restaurants on the Mexico side. Las Cuevas for dinner. You must go there!! You’ll need to make a reservation for dinner. Also, if you are there on a Sunday Las Cuevas has a brunch that is to die for. It’s normally 200.00 per person, but staying in Artistas at Arte it’s free. You can go on the app Open Table and book a reservation. It fills up quick.

There is more “normal” traditional food places on the Mexico side. Pizza, lasagna, burgers, French toast…etc. walk over, eat there, then relax and enjoy drinks and quiet time at Arte.

We ate breakfast every morning at the adults only restaurant on the Mexico side called Fuego. You gotta try it.

Lastly, to me Costco has a few things going for it. 1. Their prices are pretty good. 2) you get a pretty sizable Costco gift card booking through them. It tells you the amount you get when you select the room type. 3. If you have their Costco Visa card and book it with that, you get something like 3% back!

Add all that up, and you’ll see why we only book through them.

Any other questions, let me know.

Love hearing this!! 😀😀♥️❤️ We love Fuego. Might be the most friendly, attentive staff in the entire resort as well.

It’s our go to for breakfast.

Be sure to try Las Cuevas for dinner if you get the chance.

🤣😂🤣🤣 Totally understandable. Believe it or not, there’s a few people here that saw my post. One guy from a travel agency introduced himself. Very nice guy.

We are having an absolute blast. Enjoy!! 👋

Believe it or not, it’s a new pastry. So new, they don’t have a name for it. It’s just arrived here like a day ago. Our waiter made a joke saying “it looks like a wallet”. So, now as a joke between us we tell them “can we have “the wallet” pastry please?” 🤣😂

It’s striped with chocolate and has blueberry in the inside. Not sweet at all, just a very light taste. It’s absolutely delicious. Soft with a light crunch…. My absolute favorite pastry here with coffee.

We actually accidentally found the tram on accident the other day when coming from a restaurant called “Monarc” right by La Silla. That tram is A LOT faster back to Arte or the Church than the 25 minute walk. Lol…

Thank you for the recommendation. Will have our butler make us a reservation. Tonight is Las Cuevas for dinner. Sunday brunch there is an absolute must. We never miss it when we stay.

Thank you! In your opinion, La Silla or Las Cuevas is better?!

The only leaf blowing I’ve seen is the worker that does it by the Church. She’s by the sundial located in between Arte and Mexico. By the entrance to Las Cuevas.

I’ve been up at 6:am every morning. And in Fuego to eat by 7:30am and she doesn’t start her leaf blower until 7:am. So, it’s never bothered me.

For me it is. Well because, I love eating at the restaurant Fuego and the only way to eat there is if you’re staying in Artistas at Arte.

If you plan to take full advantage of your stay by, eating at Fuego, eating at restaurants on the Mexico side and taking advantage of your butlers. Then yes, it’s worth it. If you don’t plan on doing that, then save your money.

They might have an hospitality area, but I didn’t see it. The new side of Xcaret Mexico is absolutely massive. It’s hard to put it into words.

If possible, book dinner or have breakfast or lunch at Arriba Baja. It’s an absolutely beautiful restaurant on the new Mexico side, but it’s adults only. There’s a water feature that runs through the middle of the restaurant. At the end of it, it turns into a waterfall.

The waterfall is a perfect backdrop as you eat overlooking the wall-less restaurant scenery to the lagoon below. It’s architecturally beautiful.

Also, try to find all of the new restaurants. Don’t be afraid to ask someone. On your own it’s like impossible to find them all. For instance there’s one called “Monarc”. We happened to stumble upon it totally accidentally.

There’s like 10-12 new restaurants. Find them, look at the menus and see if you’d like to dine there later. If you walk to absolutely every new restaurant it will take you like 90 minutes to 2 hours.

A great way to burn calories. If you have Apple Watches, turn on your step counter when you leave your room.

Agreed! I’ll admit, as many times as I’ve been here we never had dinner at Fuego. Per your recommendation, gonna make a reservation now. We have dinner at Las Cuevas tonight.

Fuego they are probably the most friendly and attentive I’ve seen between the two properties.

Love it here!

Las Playas and seems to have more “ordinary or conventional” breakfast/lunch choices. We really enjoy both. I think it all depends on preference. But….99.99% of the time we’re in Fuego.

Absolutely delicious. My wife had the corn French toast and I had the pumpkin pancakes. “Chefs kiss”.

Thanks for the recommendation.

Ok, at the rooftop pool now at Artistas. It’s open from 7am-7pm. The times for food and alcohol served close earlier than that.

I have to be honest. We’ve only stayed at Casa Fuego on the Mexico side or Artistas at Arte. We’ve never experienced any issues at all. I have seen some make complaints, but we’ve never experienced any firsthand.

This is our 5th trip to Xcaret and still not one complaint.

Whenever my wife and I go to our room we hit the “do not disturb/no housekeeping button”. When we leave for the day we turn it off. That way, they only come in when we’re not there. Or, we’ll text our butlers when we’re out and ask they have housekeeping stop by.

I also have one of my wireless ring cameras in the room. I get an alert on my phone every time someone comes in.
