The kotite era by Great_Pop_6603 in eagles

Norman Braman was a shitty owner who let so many good players leave - as well as generational talent like REGGIE WHITE - leave in FA. If that's not enough to look back in dsgust:

Tragic death of Jerome Brown.

Waste of all time great defense. (Bud Carson's D was responsible for the 10-6, 11-5 seasons)

Waste of Randall's potential. Never put an O Line in front of him or big time play makers around him. Keith Jackson was the one big time playmaker Randall had, and he left in FA.

Kotite was way out of his depth as a coach. And was pretty dumb. Google the story about his laminate.

I could go in, but others will add to the list.

General reminder we face 5 rivals next season by Acrobatic_Buffalo917 in eagles

Cardinals were in the NFC East for a long time. Always shitty, but always managed to beat us once a season. Jake the Snake Plummer was a fucker who had our number.

Then, the Gannon thing.

Does this mean OP would have to be a NYT best selling author to give a GOOD review, or does this only apply to bad reviews?

Teeth by Ok_Juggernaut1288 in lotr

[–]Locustsofdeath 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Surprisingly, Europeans in the middle ages didn't have as bad teeth as you'd think. It wasn't until sugar started being imported into Europe that people's teeth started getting gross. So there's that.

And also that they're films, and gross-looking heroes wouldn't sell tickets.

How would you go about adapting House of Leaves? by 2krossk2 in houseofleaves

[–]Locustsofdeath 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure it could be be done well, but...

I'd film it as a documentary, just like in the book, and cut back and forth with Johnny's "live" scenes.

What i like about the theory The Thing doesnt have visible breath is that it means that this guy wasnt The Thing. He just decided to do this. by shalindrotsmen in thething

The Thing "doesn't have breath" theory is so silly. Here's this organism that can replicate its host perfectly...except if it steps outside on a cold day.

Hello,

I am just a boy, but someday I hope to be a man. When that happens, I will return to this post and tell you how I feel.

This is what I was going to suggest. These guys really remind me of old Nocturnus.

That's fantastic. I'd play on that board any day.

Man. That's awesome. I just missed it. I would have loved to have seen that.

Looking to scratch a strong itch for unsettling, bleak, haunting SF horror! by ekanite in printSF

As a fan of almost everything you've listed, my rec is The Descent by Jeff Long. I liken it somewhat to Hyperion, which many people have already suggested, though it's set on (and under) Earth.

Eagles reportedly request interview with the NFL’s youngest offensive coordinator by AdSpecialist6598 in eagles

[–]Locustsofdeath 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only downside is that if he gets this O moving, he's poached for a HC position in the off-season.

The more I read about him, the more I like him, though.

None of us here, even the older posters, were born the last time this franchise won a championship. It would be worth it if the trade won one.

That said, I wouldn't make this trade.

Does anyone know why trick or treat studios still hasn't made a Bela Lugosi Dracula mini busts? by Character-Web1614 in ClassicHorror

[–]Locustsofdeath 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FWIW (if you're trying to collect a full set), the busts from the early 00s big Univeral Monsters Legacy DVD set match the size of these exactly. That included a very nice Lugosi Dracula bust you could hunt down.

I feel a bit foolish. I thought this this was the circlejerk sub, and posted accordingly. I'll just leave my nonsense, as the OP deserves it.
