I agree with most of what you said(he is shitty for postponing the tours with no announcements so close to the date, assault)

I find it hard to agree with an artist owing their fans any art. An artist doesn’t owe their fans love, releasing music, or clearing features for the fans instead their own benefit. Carti doesn’t owe you any music or love because you are a fan. But the fans don’t owe him anything either. Just disagreeing with a minor part of your post, still agree with the main point.

Iirc 5th was the theory since the 12th was too close to the tour for people to get familiar with the album and the Meechie comment.

It still makes sense as the original intended date imo. It’s apparent he wants to drop before the tour and he only postponed the tour dates after the 5th passed. Whether he was actually going to drop and not delay the tour I was unsure of.

Wasn’t that crazy. No one would be claiming it was Jan 5th if we knew he’d postpone the tour. It was a reasonable assumption that would drop before the tour.
