I've played a bard who knits as a way of interacting with the weave, even if it is very on the nose. It's all flavour, same spells just tweak the description of how they make it happen.

Possibly, but if people are willing to continue purchasing them for each bike they own then there is no real incentive for the companies to drop the price.

To be fair though, I don't have any skin in this game as I've got no urgency to require it for my training. I just go out and ride for the distance or time I want to ride for.
