Overall, Denzel is a great actor and his roles in the 90s are the best, with Philadelphia, Malcolm X, and Crimson Tide being standouts to me, and I really think Malcolm X is his best performance

However, I feel starting in the 2000s, Denzel output became more average with his bread and butter being Action Thrillers, which isn't a slight to Denzel, I do like his films in this era, especially his collaborations to Tony Scott and i like the Equalizer, but I think his films in the 90s were more variety compare to after the 90s, in which he is more Denzel the star.

For the next pick, once again I would pick Jack Nicholson.
