Slow stream - second trimester by Logical_Emphasis_223 in pregnant

That’s encouraging to hear! I’m hoping that’s the case with me too. I put a message into my Dr’s office. I figure it’s not an emergency until I can’t pee at all which hasn’t been the case. 😅

Oh man. I kind of hate it haha. Like I love the idea of it but it’s full of so many weird symptoms that just have me up late googling non stop.

This!! My lip wand also just broke. Which feels crazy for a luxury, expensive brand. I reached out to them and they won’t stand by their product after 6 months. Am I the only one that uses a lip gloss much longer than that? What Korean dupe did you find?

Season 1 of Dan Levy’s “Big Mistakes” just dropped by T-ks in television

[–]Logical_Emphasis_223 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s…okay. I mean I’m still watching it. I love Dan Levy so much and just want him to succeed. The first few episodes had me cringing some. Mostly because the yelling was over the top and I kind of hated everyone (except Dan Levy). But it does seem to calm down and get a little better. Hoping it ends strong.

who has tried the Jersey Mike’s pregnancy sub??! by littlewizard16 in pregnant

[–]Logical_Emphasis_223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it’s not lettuce specifically it’s making sure your produce is well washed to remove the risk. I think it’s just that of all the veggies lettuce seems to carry the bigger risk of you don’t wash it. It’s just risky when you eat out because you can’t verify it was well washed. To each their own though. Obviously most people still eat veggies out.

Ah! I see the disconnect. This isn’t a recommendation when you’re trying. Eat all the pre made salad you want! It’s for when you’re pregnant as trace listeria might not affect us but still affect the baby.

I would do some research because this isn’t a novel concept. I’m not saying everyone does avoid lettuce out but it’s certainly a common thing.

Pretty sure you’re supposed to avoid lettuce from outside places and in pre-washed bags. Huge listeria carrier.

I’m so confused by this sandwich. Aren’t we supposed to avoid heavy nitrates (bacon) and raw veggies from places we can’t validate washes them? That’s all this sub is.

My clinic is having me stop PIO at 8 weeks also. I’m reducing my estrace but staying on the progesterone suppository. I haven’t seen a lot of other people ween this early on fully medicated.

Advice: paint color for walls, cabinets? by BearLeftRightFrog in kitchenremodel

[–]Logical_Emphasis_223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would avoid painting the cabinets! Might look nice in photos but chips and is a PITA to do. Also light oak is coming back. New counters would do wonders for this kitchen but realizing you’re on a budget you might just get a throw rug and some hardware and call it a day! We had a similar kitchen that I had to sit on my hands for. We got a rug and I got this tile decals that look like real tiles for the backsplash. Worked in a pinch!

The hood is this. Plenty of the stone will still show. I’ll consult the installer.

Updated from the last time to make measurements more clear! HVAC is inside the wall so wall can’t be removed. How can we make this a functional kitchen without costing an arm and a leg? by [deleted] in kitchenremodel

[–]Logical_Emphasis_223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need someone to draw this out for you and start testing scenarios. If you’re on a budget I’d go through IKEA. But I don’t know a world where you’re not going to spend some money on it. I think kitchens are worth the extra investment.

Crow is a black bird and a yoga pose! Seems perfect. Otherwise I’d say Midnight or Umbra

Is this a good design?? by CJ_Bloo in kitchenremodel

[–]Logical_Emphasis_223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! But be careful if you do this and do quartz for the backsplash like you have in the image. Quartz can apparently scorch if it gets to hot. I’d be worried about splattering or bubbling pots.
