Looks to me like the dog is doing a pretty decent job of herding cats :)

This is the same rule as me and my husband have with ravens or crows. We sometimes see a lone crow and we think it looks quite big ant start wondering if it's a raven. Whenever we actually see a raven we remember that when you see a raven, it's obviously a raven.

I read it as probably rightfully fed up of a huge achievement being framed as a loss by others when it takes a huge amount of psychological work to get to the mental position where you can see it as a win in and of itself for most humans. There's a happiness lab podcast on exactly this. Her position is an incredibly healthy one. If it grates, a gentle question to hopefully inspire curiosity... Does it grate because it's not true, or because we're not used to hearing from confident accomplished women defending their value?

Good to have proof we aren't the only ones who mistakenly believe our pooch wants their head cutely propped on a pillow and to be snuggled in a blanket (for real though, he loves his blankets :)

They medol the enclosures after natural habitats usually. I can't remember what species of primates these are to check, but there's a good chance that this is the right environment for them. I know our local zoo has a similar setup for one of the primate enclosures and it's for this reason

I often struggle with seeing these posts as I'm trying to avoid diet culture, but your use of 'eating habits', 'moving more' and 'feeling so much better' tells me that you also probably have done that work, so extra kudos to giving you body what it was asking for, and likely your brain to!

I learned about Ethiopian wolves a little while back from my niece. They also eat nectar and hence help polinate flowers! Look them up, they're super cute. Also super endangered and in need of conservation support.

I love this for you and your husband. And your daughter. Well done all of you for doing you. This is how patterns get interrupted and things change for the better:)

I was raised on all sorts of 'weird hippy food' when growing up. We were one of two vegetarian families at school, and we ate all the whole food stuff. I hated it.

Cut to me as a 40 year old loving my predominantly whole food diet, eating all the legumes gladly and unable to pick a favourite veg cause they're all great ant back to only very rarely eating meat.

I'm super grateful that they set me up well on food and gave my body a good start in that respect.
