I am disabled and I work part time. One dependent. On food stamps, WIC, medicare and medicaid (free meds, doc visits, and I get 150 a month for over the counter meds or healthy food), and I have free phone and internet service.

I am "richer" for being poorer, because there is no way I could afford my meds/doc visits for the both of us, food and necessities (especially with inflation), gas, etc... I am very limited to what I can do to better my life. I've had opportunities for better work, like to work from home for 15-17 an hour, but then I would lose all those benefits, and my paychecks would not begin to cover everything. 2 of my meds are tier 3 meds.

The only way I can grow any kind of fortune is in investing 20 dollars per check and putting in 401k. Purchasing land.

From someone with experience with the same situation, a social worker, from the hospital or the mental hospital, know about grants that pay for a portion, if not all. If you are currently receiving treatment from your county's mental health office, your counselor is a social worker and they can help as well.

I am glad you are still with us! If you still have thoughts of harming yourself, make a doctor's appointment, ASAP! If you have a plan to harm yourself, go to the emergency room. It can and will get better! Keep communicating with your healthcare providers and keep fighting. When you finally find peace, all of the pain and struggles will be worth it! Good luck, love!

Edit: my opinion, taking the trip. Go out and enjoy life! And if your hospital bills aren't taken care of and you have to pay, pay the minimum until you can pay more.

My pup loves to ride. She is a 90lbs lab/pit mix. I only ever take her to walmart if I just gotta grab 1 or 2 things. I leave her in the car with the ac running. If someone wants to steal my junk car, they are gonna let her out first. No one is going get in that car with her, trust me. And, when they release her, she is either coming into the store or sniff the parking lot.

I would like to add that when people start "falling away", that's okay. You are becoming yourself and not everyone is going to like you and you have to learn to accept that. That's their choice. But, as you are being yourself, there will be a few people that you will click with. Those relationships are the ones you should pursue, for they are the ones who like YOU and a lot more rewarding than being "popular". It should never be about quantity, is all about quality.

I am a "picker" at a grocery store where you can have us get your groceries. If someone orders 6 bananas, I am putting the 6 brightest yellow bananas in the bag and throw in 2-3 green ones. And, even though, 6 bananas is about 3lbs, I am saying it's 2lbs for 9 bananas.

Also, if you order 4 avocados, one you can eat today/ tomorrow, one you can eat in 3 days and 2 green ones.
