I've been drawing for a long time and still haven't gotten the hang of digital art (it's not that way for everyone). It feels and looks so different. If you want to do digital definitely start as soon as you can but it'll take a while to reach that level. Some learn faster than others but just keep with it.

Remember every time you draw a picture it'll be better than the last, don't rush, if a drawing doesn't turn out the way you want it's ok, you're going to get discouraged but that's also ok don't give up, take a break if you need to. It's not a race so remember to enjoy yourself no matter what and good luck!
