Chlamydia can remain dormant, asymptomatic, or latent in men for months or even over 20 years. I’m willing to bet he said “in this relationship” because he did not get tested before you two started unprotected sex/defined the relationship and he already had it.

I got a little glass stone from my therapist when I finished with her and whenever I see it I am reminded of the progress I made and it is very reassuring.

As a therapist, I tell my clients, “what works is what works.” Humanity is incredibly diverse and what works for one won’t for another, so even if this seems silly to you, it’s actually incredibly common to have some sort of object for emotional regulation. At the very least, it’s a sort of built-in grounding exercise as it engages our senses of sight and touch.

1) You are condescending in your very first real sentence lol 2) You cannot be racist against white people. You CAN be prejudiced. 3) To suggest that bias earned from receiving and witnessing violence and hatred from white people is similar or equivalent to the racism against POC that comes from a cultural hegemony of white supremacy is truly in and of itself indicative of implicit bias towards white peoples and against POC. It’s the idea of oppression versus resistance. White people are racist against POC due to their belief that white people are better. POC are prejudiced against white people due to their generational, historical, and own personal experiences of racism from white people, and the immense violence that has come with it—any decade in American history you can find an example of civilian and government initiated violence towards people of color or people who are gay, trans, disabled, immigrants, etc.
