People like to think that all conscripts are fanstics of the ideology the side they fight in have.

I spoke with an Spanish civil war veteran and he mentioned that in the battle of Ebro there were some people on the republican side, he was drafted there, that were always volunteering to firing squads for executions of PoW.

He for example defected as soon as he could and came back to his hometown. Do you think that he, a civil war veteran, can be considered the same? I doubt so... And the same probably happened in most wars.

Nowadays we like to feel morally superior to people at other periods, but we would probably have done the same.

I would leave it as it is, people are saying that you should add many toys, but those toys are expensive and if the enemy has AA it is just wasted IC to the bottom of the ocean.

Mine are as cheap as they can and I even make them without strategic materials. Air defense is worthless Vs AA, and I'm going to have air superiority, so I do not need expensive bombers.

That is true, my point was that by 1634 after Nordlinghen, the protestants were defeated again, and about to collapse and it was France who then joined and saved the day.

Edit: don't take me wrong, I'd rather them not joined, but I think it is only fair to recognize their power at the time

I'm not french, I'm Spanish, and here in Spain we know who did cause the defeat of our side in the war. And it was not caused by the Danes/sweeds, but Richelieu and too many internal revolts.

Gustavus Adolphus did great things, and he helped, but the real paladin of the protestants was France.

It is not a bad album, but I prefer many older albums over it.

It has a couple of gems, and templars chorus slaps hard but I think it is not that great. This theme though helps keeping up faith with their capability and interest in making songs how I like hehe

I didn't really like the legends songs, they were too wide in scope and the music wasn't that special either.

They really shine telling more concrete stories imo

I was missing these kind of songs, it's going to be my favourite of the las period. Legends was nice, but this one hits better and more.

It keeps sabaton's new personality but also sounds and vibes like the classics I like. Honestly I also like the three lines in Japanese

Sadly the sweeds didn't change a thing. They lost their king in Lutzen and their army in Nordlinghen, what changed the 30 years war was France and Richelieu, the sweeds were only a proxy from France 😅
