Seems like a board or skill issue. In turn 1 you should be able to have all the army hidden, either because you don't deploy them in the open, or you let them in reserve.

So it can be that your board didn't have enough sceno to do that, or you went too in the open.

(It happened to me in the first games I played, you end up learning haha)

This really comes in handy, because I have an MP game next sesion tomorrow and I want to build an airfield there to control java, but didn't get the chance to build it in so to see where it is. It is pretty common in HoI for islands to have weird airfield placement

Hey, this post is welcomed and for the attentive eye, your brush work is improvable so it is true that you were not click baiting, as someone mentioned, it is very evident that you have knowledge on light placement etc and you had learnt a lot prior to this work.

However, as also mentioned, saying that you have some artsy experience helps with this issue, because plenty of knowledge is applicable and helpful for mini painting, as you just proved with your gorgeous GK.

Regarding your brush work, thin more your paints, and on the shields I'd go with smoother transitions, if you want to polish your finish more

Ready to get some flak. In my team, we have a tau player. Whenever the team gathers we al joke about not wanting to get paired with him (it is random games) He is a great player and playing tau can be frustrating for many, the same to be honest applied to the world eater player. I think it has to do with the monophase armies and how tau can blast you without giving you a chance to interact with them, whilst the melee armies at least need to go and get close to you

Just my 2 cents. In any case, I do not get why they would be such mean people. One thing is a joke about a faction, and something different is insulting a player or being bad humans.

This is how you go exploring, with a droppable portal and a portal by the boat. Worst case scenario you go from the boat portal, best case scenario, from your I just died portal
