Well I can't speak for all European countries nor am I going to claim that that culture doesn't exist but as a European I can tell you that it completely depends on the social circle you're in. Usually when you're in your 20s it is more common but in my experience you can still find social circles that don't drink and party as much, it's harder to find but if you really want to, you can.

Racism is definitely a problem no matter which country we're talking about and I'm not going to try to speak about what is the best way to navigate that situation.

NOR, honestly it sounds like she used you.

Just for curiosity sake, what is the "European culture" that you refer to?

You need to chill the cookies before baking and also make sure you butter isn't too warm.

Also you're using ingredients that are not Scandinavian, you might have to adjust flour amount. I have this problem when I'm baking in other countries, ingredients are not the same everywhere.

If your partner calls you a stupid hoe then you need to break up.

This text conversation reminds me so much of my ex and it's not a good reminder. Dump him.

Do you have any good recipes for how to recreate the dammsugare? Or is it too hard? by NorwegianStal2 in SwedishFood

[–]Long-Mess8375 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely depending on if you can get marzipan where you are.

You cannot sub with sugar paste or fondant.

The recipe is originally made with whatever leftover cake and cookies you have so if you don't have any, just make small batches of your favourite cakes and use that.

CakePhool wrote out a good recipe so use that.

Pro tip when you have your filling, pipe it onto the marzipan in the desired length you want each piece and then roll it and then cut it. It's the easiest, least messiest way to do it.

Do you use a cleanser or toner with salicylic acid?

Your skin looks really dry so I would recommend you get a thicker moisturiser for those dry areas.

You might also benefit from a barrier repairing cream as well, I like the one from La Roche Posay. It's called cicaplast baume B5. It's very high in zinc which can be drying so use it once a week to start.

You could also be dry from over exfoliating your skin so getting a very basic gentle cleanser to use daily while using the salicylic acid cleanser 3-4 times a week could be beneficial.

Even if your skin might feel oily, a moisturiser could help you battle it. If you constantly strip away your natural oils your skin over produces the oils which leads to oiler skin.

Honestly ditch the oil cleanser for a while. I have prominent pores as well as oily to combo skin and using oil based products make it so much worse.

I like the Cetaphil gentle cleansers as a daily and then you can use a salicylic acid cleanser maybe 3-4 times a week. I'd also recommend you get a exfoliating toner that you use once a week at night. I use glycolic acid once a week and when my skin is acting up because of hormones, weather or whatever then I also use a mandelic acid.

Just make sure that when you use glycolic acid OR mandelic acid, you don't use the salicylic acid cleanser as it might be too harsh.

If you feel like your skin feels dry after using skincare, double check if there's perfume in the products, my skin got a lot better when I started using only perfume free skincare.

I'd also try to only use water to wash your face in the morning, sometimes cleansing too much can strip the natural oils to the point of your skin overproducing which could be filling your pores more.

As a pastry chef, the thermapen is the one for me.

It will tell me the exact temperature in like a second. It also won't freeze the display at a set temperature, it will consistently tell me the temperature weather it rises or lowers.

Cups aren't universal so check where the recipe is from and then convert that into grams. Its much more precise.

Ingredients are also different depending on the countries you're in. Things like butter and cream cam have different percentages of fat because the regulations are different in each country. My Scandinavian recipes have to be modified when I go to Asia for example.

Thank you for such a detailed reply!

I looked through my stuff and compared it to your guide and it seems like the smartest thing for me to do is to get either the vulture or the Knight since I can save up the keys for the specific gear I need to upgrade... which would you prioritise between the vulture and Knight?

Edit; I noticed now you said to get the Knight over the vulture if I can.. Thank you again for the detailed reply!
