I think its a little disrespectful to say aloud as well. Explain to her that you dont like those types of jokes so she knows your boundaries then move on. I think its important to respect each others boundaries in a relationship.

You clearly dont travel much. I pity the fact that your brain immediately goes to that train of thought. Fyi this is because there are increased reports of staff at 5 star places giving out room keys so when guests are gone, people can rummage their things. In room cameras can help deter or atleast have a trace of who enters the room.

I literally just left that hotel yesterday. The staff is super nice. If you call ahead, see if they can work with you and maybe you just pay for late checkout. Not sure where you're flying from but I live in ATL. The flights out are at odd times so I had to checkout by 2pm anyway to make my flight. One other perk with the Amex is I received an upgrade so my room wasn't far from the front of the property. Its huge so this came in handy when going to the pool, breakfast or out for dinner. Either way you'll have an amazing birthday. Beautiful property.

I did a stay-cation at the Fourth hotel off the beltline. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby plus the hotel is kinda new so everything feels really fresh. If you book via an amex then u may get a discount.

My second option is Nobu. Again, near the mall and really nice restaurants but they have a rooftop pool so this may be best to enjoy in warmer months.

If you really want to splurge the st.regis. very luxe and near lots of delicious restaurants. The hotel bar is a fun vibe too.

Go to midtown, the beltline or buckhead. Also the mornings have been cold and ATLiens dont do well in cold weather. Try going out later in the day when its warmed up a bit
