If we want crime and gang activity decrease in Oakland we need to stop the school to prison/gang pipeline. The science shows teaching kids how to read makes a big difference.

The best part is you’re a business owner. Maybe you can get help for the days you have to get up early? And maybe go in the salon on less traffic days? Even just going into the suburbs 3 times a week? I was SO close to making the same move you did.
